If I could give zero stars, I’d be happy to. The only delightful person at this hotel was Sue who willingly went above and beyond. Seems like she was the only one that knew what she was doing also. Now about the hotel room: mold, in the bathrooms from the walls, to the vents to the pipes. It makes sense because they don’t have daily room maintenance. It was a hassle just asking for towels because they didn’t have extras available. Our towel rack in the bathroom was hanging on by a mere thread and fell as soon as I reached for a washcloth. In our original room (on the second floor), we found a waterbug, cockroach and spider. We then realized that the room was properly sealed because the air condition hole wasn’t secured. The overnight staff were sitting in the lobby area (not behind the front desk), with their feet on the couches, making it feel like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for necessities. Asked for a discount on the room due to creepy crawlers in my bed and the best thing they said they can do was offer a 10% discount on my next stay in North Carolina. No care or understanding in the world about the reason why.

Staff was wonderful. Had a great time. No problems. Hotel was clean up-to-date and seem to be well taken care of. And it was also very quiet and the staff at the front desk especially Sue was extremely kind and considerate.

Could’ve been better! Our stay started on Sunday the 1st and ended Monday the 9th and cost us over $850 that I now wish we spent elsewhere. The property itself was really nice for what it is until Thursday came… On Thursday there was a decent amount of rain and I didn’t think anything of it until I heard a dripping noise around 9:30pm. I got out of bed to see what was dripping, turn out it was the ceiling. After finding the leak I started looking at the ceiling more intently and noticed this definitely wasn’t the first time this happened. The lady at the front desk moved us to the room across the hall. This room was not any better as the curtains weren’t on the window properly and I had to use a hair clip to keep them shut. The bed was horribly worn in the middle and no matter how close to the edge you were you rolled into the middle. We were already exhausted and just wanted to sleep so we stayed there for the night and decided to deal with it in the morning. When we got up for the day I went back down and the lady was very understanding and gave us a new room and told me to come back after getting our belongings moved over and we would talk about some kind of compensation. Here is why my review is a rant not a rave… She said she was contacting her higher up and would get back in contact with me. I didn’t hear anything back that day so the next day I went down to the desk and it was a different person. I asked her for an update about the situation and she acted like she h

This was the worst quality inn that i have stayed at anywhere in the country. Staff was horrible and beyond unhelpful and it was very difficult to communicate with them. over $300 in extra fees, and the property smelled like mildew, and the 2 queen beds are really 2 full size beds

The hotel has aged over the years. The lights in the room were so dim it was almost dark. The bathroom tub needs caulked. At breakfast the wife had cereal, but they had no spoons to eat it with. The location is what I like about it, but the negatives are now outweighing the positives.

The hotel wasn't super clean and no one cleaned the room during our stay. I drank rotten milk the first morning and decided to forego breakfast the next day. Friends in other rooms had it worse off, broken beds, roaches, and poo on the TP roll. Not to mention the couple that opened the door for their stay to a dirty room with unmade beds and dirty towels. I think it's a toss up staying here. I was the luckier of our group.

Sheets were dirty, bathroom was dirty, hair in places it shouldn’t have been if it were properly cleaned. Needed replacement sheets and towels; never got them. They did provide scissors when my son went down though. You get what you pay for.

I would never stay there again!

it was terrible. We went there for a romantic getaway anniversary. The TV didn’t work. They said they’d come up and fix it after about an hour. We just told them to forget it when they did not show. Then the Jacuzzi tub that we were promised did not work the room that we booked looked nothing like the room that we got. yes we told them the problems when we left after three hours. They said nothing.
