The Villa Iris is situated at the heart of Pihaena in a tropical garden, between Moorea’s two bays in the north.
This vacation rental is composed of 2 distinct spaces:
- On the mountain side, a spacious gated house a covered parking.
- An extraordinary seaside area including a small beach accessible by crossing the little road in front of the villa.
On the first floor, this colonial-style house welcomes an air conditioned master bedroom with its bathroom, a living room including a kitchenette and opening onto a large covered terrace comfortably furnished viewing the tropical garden.
The second floor welcomes the second mezzanine bedroom featuring 4 single beds, and the third bedroom with a double bed and its bathroom.
The Villa Iris pays tribute to its Polynesian roots with decorative exteriors created in temporal style, structuring and flooring made from exotic wood and warm colorful interior decoration.
Once you crossed the little road you will access to a private seaside area. It is a small relaxing area that looks like what you can find on the Tuamotu islands opening onto a small white sandy beach and especially onto a sandy lagoon where the fauna and flora are rich. On site a covered and shaded area is equipped with a dining table for meals by the water.
At your disposal an outdoor shower as well as two kayaks to explore the lagoon. No doubt that you will spend your days like Robinson Crusoe on the seaside admiring the bay and its magnificent sunsets. This is pure heaven.

Excellent House and Location
This property was perfect for our family of five’s one week stay. House was plenty roomy, clean and had all we needed to cook, lounge, snorkel and enjoy the sunset. Centrally located, so with a rental car, was easy to get to where we wanted to go - especially to Super U Are in PaoPao or Maharepa for breakfast and other groceries/shopping. Would love to stay here again!

Awesome Beach Cabana
Nice house but the selling point is the beach cabana. Beautiful view, great for snorkeling. The only challenge was finding the house - we would recommend a bigger sign on the fence.

Under advertised
The house who rented has small beach cabin, very close by that we could use. This was paradise and snorkeling is amazing. My kids refused to go to any other beach on the island. We spent eight days there. We had everything we needed in the house which was well stocked, including kayaks. On the property we had banana trees, pineapple trees, and of course coconut trees. We will definitely return.

Tahiti Paradise
Everything about this property was excellent. Clean, homely, and well set up for a large group but also perfect for our family of three adults. The aircon in the bedrooms was welcome, but we spent most time lazing on the lanai. The private beach is a few steps away.
Only downside was having to check in and out with an agent who changed times after our ferry bookings and plans were made.
We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

Love Moorea
This is a great house to stay in. The main residence is nicely presented and very comfortable. We had 4 people (family with 2 older teens) and it was plenty of space for us - would easily accommodate 6 but 8 would be cosy.
The best part - the private beach! With it's own lawn, deck, day-house, sandy beach. The best snorkelling we had was directly off this beach.

Villa Iris and Beach House
This was the most convenient house with beach access we have used! It is a well laid out home great for large groups, although we were only a group of four. The garden area was beautiful with the smell of fragrant flowers in the morning and evening. We spent a lot of time at the beach house and it was convenient and relaxing. Thank you so much for opening your place for our vacation.

Great location, beautiful and private
The fare Iris was a great place to stay! We spent tons of time out on their beautiful deck, it’s clearer someone spends a lot of time maintaining the yard here at the house. Unfortunately the space down at the beach could have used some love, and do with some updating the table was two poorly made sawhorses and a thin piece of ply wood and overgrown with some poky weeds. Our concierge noted that they would send a gardener down to take care of it but during our two week stay we didn’t see them. Nonetheless it was a beautiful view and a private beach definitely worth it.
If ever back in Moorea would stay again!

Authentic French Polynesian Paradise
It was easy to navigate the sight. The photos were helpful and they were an honest representation of what the house was like. The location is perfect for any activity you would want to do on the island. The grounds are beautiful and the house had a traditional Polynesian feel.

Très jolie maison et très bon emplacement
La maison est magnifique et très bien équipée. On sent que les propriétaires y séjournent souvent. Le spot sur la plage est paradisiaque.
On aurait une seule chose à suggérer : des moustiquaires au moins sur les petites ouvertures des baies vitrées et dans la salle de bain du bas éviteraient quelques moustiques et autres insectes tout en permettant de ventiler la maison sans utiliser la climatisation.
