The staff and owners were so friendly! They made sure our stay was amazing
Beautiful location! Amazing sunsets every night! Great snorkeling and kayaking, saw sharks off the dock every night. I was expecting a resort where I feel this is more of a bed and breakfast. The owners and property manager live on site. You can tell how much they love and care for the place, tirelessly working on the grounds. There is no on-site restaurant or store although if you give them notice they will provide meals and drinks. Our room was pretty musty, the smell was overwhelming unless the air conditioner was on. I think if my expectations were in line with a bed and breakfast type property I would have not been disappointed with no resort amenities and the cleanliness. With that, I would stay here again just because of the location and value.
WE TOOK THE FERRY OVER TO MOOREA AND WERE BROUGHT TO TEARS BY THE BEAUTY OF THIS ISLAND. WE NOW UNDERSTOOD MARLON BRANDO! MOOREA IS THE TROPICAL ISLAND EXPERIENCE WE ARE ALL SEEKING,BUT WITH THE ADDED BONUS OF FRENCH EFFICIENCY(GREAT ROADS AND ELECTRICITY) AND FRENCH FOOD AVAILABLE IN LARGE,CLEAN SUPERMARKETS NEARBY. LIZ,THE MANAGER AND OWNER,WENT WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE OUR STAY WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HOPE FOR. WHEN THE A/C WENT OUT IN OUR SMALLER UNIT,SHE UPGRADED US TO A BUNGALOW AT NO CHARGE. EVERYTHING WAS QUAINT AND HOMEY,WITH FULL COOKING FACILITIES, THE HONOUR SYSTEM COOLER FOR WATER/ BEER/WINE, FREE SNORKEL EQUIPMENT,FREE BICYCLES,ETC. LIZ IS THERE,24/7, TO GREET NEW ARRIVALS AND TROUBLE SHOOT FOR FOLKS ALREADY THERE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WANTING TO EXPERIENCE TAHITI, FROM RETIRED COUPLES TO HONEYMOONERS TO YOUNG FAMILIES. NOBODY WILL WAKE YOU UP OR STOP YOU FROM PARTYING(WITHIN REASON!) IT IS QUIET AND RIGHT BESIDE IT'S OWN PRIVATE BEACH SO YOU CAN DO ALL SORTS OF WATER SPORTS WITHOUT PAYING EXTRA LIKE OTHER RESORTS. LIZ IS ALSO A FRENCH CHEF,AND SHE MAKES BREAKFASTS AND DINNERS AVAILABLE TO GUESTS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO COOK YOUR OWN. THERE IS EVEN A RESIDENT CAT!THERE IS A GORGEOUS GARDEN WITH A KOI POND, AND ALONG THE ROAD,ALL AROUND,TAHITIANS ARE SELLING PRODUCE AND FISH. THERE IS A PIZZA PLACE NEARBY THAT MAKES FABULOUS PIZZAS. ALL IN ALL,THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST RESORTS WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT,AND WE HAVE TRAVELLED ALL OVER THE WORLD.
