This is the third time I have stayed at this wonderful property! If you are looking for a true authentic Tahitian experience with a friendly staff look no further! The snorkeling and kayaking in front of the property is some of the best on the island. Each unit comes with a kitchenette There are several small stores nearby that you can ride your bikes to stock up on food. The rooms are simple and the beds are comfortable. There are several restaurants on the island that will pick you up at the Linareva. My favorite feature of this property is the magical dock. Lots of fish and fabulous sunsets. Our group thoroughly enjoyed there week at this property. A special thank you to resorts staff Dorine, Elodie, Heidi and Louise. They all work so hard to make everyone's stay so special. I look forward to visiting Roland and Edmee again next year!
This place was a dream come true, low key, on the water, kayaks to paddle, a dock to dive off of, sharks and rays, and some of the most beautiful coral gardens I have ever seen just down the beach a little ways. What more could you want. Oh, and no noise( except for the rooster that followed us over from Tahiti), no kids, just pure serenity.
Smaller, family owned accommodation with the personal touch. We stayed in a studio bungalow that was fully equipped with kitchen, large bed and private bathroom. The resort is on the western side of the island so in a slightly quieter location but with an excellent pizza restaurant nearby and a shop for buying groceries within riding distance on one of the resorts bicycles. As well, there was the beautiful Pineapple Beach for swimming and lounging under the trees also just a short ride along the road north. For further excursions, it is recommended to hire a scooter. The very best things about staying here were the extremely accommodating, friendly and efficient owners and staff and the deep pool in the lagoon at the end of the jetty which was teeming with beautiful reef fish and home to sleeping nurse sharks and black tipped reef sharks. Sadly it was a bit windy so we did not have a chance to use the kayaks but would have loved to if the weather had accommodated us. Highly recommended,
My husband and I were looking for a more authentic, quiet place where we would have direct access to the ocean and to be able to snorkel with the adorable little Black Tip Reef Sharks. We found this in Linareva. We booked the ‘Honeymoon Bure’ for two nights prior to A Tahitian Cruise. I did not have high expectations due to the reasonable price, how wrong I was! The Bure was clean, spacious, the grounds beautifully kept, it was peaceful and quite romantic. I loved having direct access to the water, the sun beds on the grassed area comfortable and the staff could not do enough to make our stay any more pleasant, I really would like my daughter and son in law to be able to visit, they’d love it. Thank you Doreen for such a wonderful stay and the tour, you are so very lucky to live in Paradise.
I arrived at Linareva Moorea Beach Resort on the morning of august 14th, 2019 and left august 18th, 2019, staying in bungalow number 6, and had a wonderful, relaxing stay that I wish I could have extended. The property is well maintained, the bungalows clean and well maintained, and the snorkelling that could be done at the end of the pier was amazing. It was a quiet resort which was a plus I only appreciated after staying at a larger resort for the last two days of my vacation. The location is also a plus because it is on the quieter side of the island and there were more Tahitians than tourists so I got to observe some of their daily living which made the experience richer. Dorine was always ready to provide good advice on what to do and how to get there and was always willing to help with scheduling transportation to and from the resort, if needed. They provided bicycles that you could use free of charge. If you wanted dinner cooked for you at the resort, you needed to place your order 24 hours in advance and the meals cooked by Elodie were delicious and filling. Heidi and Louise, the housekeepers, were always ready with a smile. Thank you Dorine, Elodie, Heidi, Louise for your attention to detail and your attentiveness and for making my stay in Moorea a wonderful experience. As Elodie said every morning, it was a wonderful day in paradise every day of the vacation. I will definitely return to Linareva! Vivian
Beautiful property! Nothing fancy but so well maintained. We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling off the dock! And watching Roland feed the sharks was a highlight. It was the perfect location. Quiet and quaint!!! We loved it at the Linareva!!!!
Linareva might be a small resort but it punches well above its standing. Nice homely feel, great personal service from owners and staff and fantastic attention to detail and comfort. Great value accommodations.
Our bungalow was very comfortable and we appreciated the kitchen facilities and large refrigerator. The kayaks that were available were great. We enjoyed snorkeling at the end of the dock. There is a clothesline for drying items and we were very pleased with our experience there.
Fantastic cottages with a porch with a table and a hammoc. Great location at the beach, spacious, very clean, great beds, fabulous staff that went out of their vay to please you. Equipment for snorkeling and kanokling on site for free. Free bikes to go around, many great things to see all around. Great food. I liked everything!
This place was awesome- the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is very nice and welcoming and the breakfast delicious- Great snorkeling right off the dock- we saw all sorts of sharks, rays and turtles! Free kayaks are a plus to go see the coral gardens. We watched sunset off the dock every night and enjoyed the incredible mountain views!
