It’s a simply beautiful property that is one of a kind. The overwater suite is fantastic as it’s on the water so you just hop out to snorkel right off the front door. It’s a small, intimate property that is surely unlike the nearby more expensive resorts.

Excellent, beautiful, eclectic, cat friendly and amazing

This place is quite special. The best way to describe it is a boutique resort. It's not a resort at all with a max of maybe 8 or so rooms. The property is curated with a mix of fruit plants and flowering plants. It feels as if you have entered a majestic jungle. As you walk around the property it's a lovely space. Quiet and serene. Right on the water. They also provide snorkel, kayak, and paddle board equipment. They have a bar where they can make limited drinks. All the staff are super lovely. The breakfast is amazeballs. Highly highly recommend. We had such a great experience we extended our stay.

The property was next to the shore. Water was clear and you could see tropical fishes swimming. Each guest got a welcome drink when we arrived and a shell necklace when we checked out. The entire hotel was small, but we felt like we entered into a jungle. There were good size crabs roaming on the dirt (parking) lot next to the hotel. The room decor was a little out-dated, the sheets had stain. Bathroom was nice, but there was no hot water (only luke warm). Would we recommend it? Not for the price we paid. We would recommend if it was 25% less.

Great! We had a lot of fun living there for a few days :) the little hotel is really pretty and intimate.

The property and experience was magical! Every single piece of furniture, art work and the unique decorations are beautiful and a very personal reflection of Elaine. We could have spent months exploring the main common area and the gardens at every turn provided us with something new to admire. Elaine and her staff were incredibly quick to offer assistance, make transfer and dinner reservations, recommend a dive operation, give directions and recommend things to see. The property provided us privacy, peace and serenity. Her passion to provide an amazing and memorable visit made this stay one we will cherish for life. We loved staying there and thank Elaine for sharing her life with us for a week. We hope to return. Mike and Wanda

I have carefully read your comment. Regarding lukewarm water, I remember that a guest came to make this remark to me. I remember this particularly because we never have a problem with hot water. Indeed, we have solar water heaters and when there is not enough sun, there are electric relays. As I explained to you, we had an electrical relay failure. It was repaired quickly and the next day you had hot water. Anyway, lukewarm water when it's more than 30 ° outside, I don't think it's dramatic .... Regarding a stained sheet, it seems impossible because I am extremely strict and very very severe on the extreme cleanliness of the linen. We only have brand name linen of exceptional quality. If a bedsheet is stained and the task does not go to washing, he is no longer used. But, there may have been a failure of the lingerie service and if this is the case, I apologize. Regarding your review of the bungalow that you qualify as "old fashioned" .... I think that we do not have the same criteria of appreciation. I would like to know what is "fashionable" for you .... Our decoration is very stylish with a lot of very old art object .... it is his style ... For clarification, I was an interior designer and I think I have some qualities in decoration .... You should have looked at the many photos on the booking site before booking .... Our hotel is atypical and that is why 98% of our customers love it. It is a magical place that has a soul. But like any unusual place and like everything that is purely artistic, understanding can only come from people with a soul sensitive to both art and nature. Regarding the price of overnight stays, we are cheaper than hotels of the same category in Moorea for significantly better services. You had all the photos of the suite that you rented .... you even had the possibility of making a virtual visit ... all the equipment was detailed ... If you felt that it was too expensive, too old fashioned .. ..why did you book? I wish you a wonderful 2020 year with all the modernism that suits your soul.
