It is at a corner street about 100 meters from the main center of the old historic town, Place de la Comedie. Also about 100 meters to the tram that goes all around the historic, pedestrian only section of the old city. Some rooms have a view to the Place de la Comedie. It is also a walking distance to the main train station, if you have a light luggage with rollers. Because of one way streets, and pedestrian only passages, a taxi my cost up to 10 Euro. The hotel has been renovated and so the rooms are comfortable with modern amenities such as nice shower stall, a mini-fridge, coffee maker and WiFi. My room (with queen bed) was small but sufficient for one person attending a convention, and it was only ten minutes walk to the convention center “Corum.” Of course, the hotel location is also very convenient to walking the many small streets and passage ways of the beautiful and interesting old city. Although the outside architecture of the hotel is very attractive, the decor of the rooms is more modern, sometimes with strange colors; to my taste, the wall to wall carpeting in the room was not attractive. It would have been so much nicer to have a parquet floor for this kind of hotel and climate. The hotel structure is old, and the elevator works slowly but just fine. Beautiful wide U-shaped stairs and high ceilings. The breakfast at the hotel is sufficient and convenient; although one could get a breakfast at the many restaurants nearby on the main Place and in several side streets particularly along the tram tracks. After asking several questions at the desk about recommended restaurants or other information, I found the service to be friendly but not very knowledgeable. Overall it was a very good experience (old charm combined with modern amenities) and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Right in the middle of town ....staff (thank you Matthieu) so helpful with advice for restaurants etc as only breakfast buffet here..... This is a four star hotel and I just don't feel,it comes up to that's expensive enough.. But it feels as though they are being a bit mean in the bathroom essentials for example...., no complimentary water, ,,small towels......silly things I know...just expected a bit more. Haphazard breakfast with frozen fruit salad.....but everything else tasty...

it would be difficult to be more centrally placed - hard by the Place de la Comedie - by the focal point of the tram system (I am glad I do not pay the local taxes). the rooms are well appointed and clean - and quiet. the reception (in fact all hotel) staff were most helpful - especially in directing us to the rugby stadium. a pleasure. On the ground floor, the Bar des Loges is worth a visit - and a credit to the hotel.

We arrived without a reservation and Kaabachi Makrem was extremely helpful. Not only did he showed us three rooms to choose from (same price but different amenities and dimensions), he also recommended an excellent restaurant and made reservations for us. The rooms, amenities and decor were good, but the real treat was the excellent customer service.

Outstanding hotel in the midst of the old town. Room was modern and clean. Great bathroom (although it could use a vent). Hotel staff was terrific, they helped us book trains and hotels for overnight excursions (thank you esp. Marcie and Matthew). Great restaurant and bar attached to the hotel.

This is a good quality hotel with very polite and helpful reception staff. You couldn't ask for a better location - just off Place de la Comédie right in the centre of the city. Right on the action but far enough away to avoid the chatter of the square. Room was OK but the bathroom was very good with a walk in shower. I'm not sure how I managed to drag myself away from this shower experience to go sight seeing. It was like standing under a waterfall and I enjoyed every second of it. Managed to limit myself to two a day! We were on room only basis as we like to eat breakfast somewhere different every day. Cost per night averaged out at about £95 so not bad at all given the great location. I recommend this hotel.

The room was reasonably sized and very clean. Small bathroom but efficiently appointed. Close to everything. Nice staff, and the bartender was super nice. Good value for money, but don't expect super luxury.

Ideally located very close to everything in old Montpellier. Very quirky looking hotel, our room was a little small but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good and a fair range of foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us top tips on what to visit and where to eat. would recommend the hotel for sure as it was well priced and in a great location

If you are traveling by car, this hotel is not for you, doesn't have facilities for parking, you can't park in front of hotel to unload the luggage's, not even a trolley, customer service appalling. We have arrived at this hotel in the afternoon after traveling for 6 hours by car with a 16 months old baby, and you can imagine our shock when we notice that we can't get to the hotel by car because it is in a square, it was nobody there to help us. We have instructed the receptionist to cancel our room because we are not happy with the services which she was happy to do so. So anyway to cut it short after 2 days we got in contact with expedia and explained our situation, they got in contact with the hotel and we were very outraged to hear that we have spent there the night, which this was FALSE , anyway after I have said that I can prove that we haven't, after they mentioned that we are not entitled to any refund because we have't notified them with 24 hour prior, but my problem is that we have intended to stay the night, but the haven't had the facilities and also not helpful at all, even after we have complained to the receptionist. Never again !!!!!!!!!!!! Stay AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a vey pretty hotel- beautiful and quirky decor. The room was lovely with a balcony looking to the main square. The room was spacious and had a very comfy bed and good shower. Towels were small and there were no robes. Staff were excellent. It is quite difficult to find. Aim for the Comedie car park in the old town. Look up for the hotel. It's right in the edge of the main square but not easy to spot at ground level if you don't know it's there.
