A slightly faded hotel in an area of apartments, and quite difficult to find. A few more signposts towards the end would help. A very friendly welcome by the receptionist, but less so by the evening waiter - it all seemed a bit too much trouble. Brrakfast was better. Ovetall, disappointing for a Brst Western.

Amazing sunsets

We stayed here for three nights and used it as a base for exploring the area. Hotel is difficult to find but very comfortable and quiet. There is a very nice local park in the front of the hotel. The balconys and dining room face this park. Our room was at the back and we could see the sea from our window. We ate at the hotel one evening. Food was good. Balaruc is a small spa town, a resort on a salt water lagoon, with a small old town centre behind the beach promenade. Ok for families with young children and older couples but not much to do for teens. Lots of holiday apartments. Worth walking along the promenade to catch the sun going down over this inland sea.
