Purdue Grad Party

We rented for a celebration after Purdue graduation. The 8 of us (parents and young adults) used all the indoor and outdoor space. It was delightful, and I have never experienced a VRBO that was this well appointed. The beds and extra pillow really spoiled us. It had everything we needed and more. Monticello lost power on our first night, and the owner brought more candles and alerted us to the mini-lanterns ... it was like camping! SO FUN! We really appreciated the extra attention, the second fridge, and extra cooler. Our group enjoyed the tiered decks, really comfy furniture and waving to the boat neighbors. We are in good shape for all the steps!Thank you, Kelly and Ryan!

Quiet and cozy weekend.

Kelly was an excellent host always providing immediate communication. We appreciated all of the extra amenities provided and the place was spotless. The beds were alos very comfy! We will definitely stay again!

Golf Trip

House was immaculate with lots of nice touches like cucumber water in the kitchen, bottled water in the fridge, ingredients for s’mores. Only negative is this is not for anyone over about 6’1”. Kitchen has low ceiling and we cooked dinner every night. Top of my head looks like hamburger.

Home away from home!

This place is great! Everything about being on the lake is what you would expect! Beautiful view, tranquil, and just a happy place!! Kelly made everything great with all of her personal touches!! Can’t wait to back!

Long weekend

We were looking to disconnect and spend quality on the lake. Beautiful property, charming decor, well stocked for any cooking/baking needs, and very dog friendly! We loved the boat also and it allowed us to see all of Lake Shafer.

Amazing Stay

We use vacation rental properties when we go on vacations and we have never had a property that exceeded our expectations like this one. The owners have thought of every single detail. From the coffee bar to the bedrooms to the stocked bathrooms they have thoughtfully put together an exceptional experience for the traveler. Their knowledge of the area was especially helpful to us. The attention to detail was unparalleled. You will enjoy this lovely home and all it has to offer.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was the perfect place for our weekend away at Lake Shafer! The location was perfect, the house was so cute and clean and so many personal touches by the host that made us feel so welcome!! I would highly recommend this house and we will be back!

Family Getaway

This is a cute and cozy cottage with an amazing deck and view of the water. The owners were very good at checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The cucumber water, snacks, and coffee bar were extra fun perks! This house is fully stocked with everything you may need (towels, soap, lanterns, etc). We definitely plan to come back.

Great house, great location, great host

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked with everyday items you needed. Kelly was very easy to work with and checked if you needed anything several times. She responded to your questions in a timely manner. We enjoyed cooking out on the deck. The deck had very good furnishings. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The location was close to golf courses and restaurants. It was also nice and close to Indiana Beach. We highly recommend this VERBO.

Wonderful and Peaceful Stay

The host is super accommodating and responsive. The lake house is well stocked with amenities. It's a lovely well maintain home. The rooms were cozy and it was nice to be off the beaten path just a little.

Absolutely Awesome Host!! and Property!

My wife and I took our son, daughter in-law and 2 grandsons 7 & 2 for our yearly summer get together to this property. And our 2 Maltese service dogs. Kelly and Kevin as well as Ryan made us so at home with every amenity you can imagine. The property is emasculate comfortable and inviting. Look no further, book your trip NOW! A+++++++++

Lake Cottage Extraordinaire!!

Perfectly appointed three bedroom cottage with a wonderful deck and large pier. The grandchildren loved jumping and floating in the water. Kelly, our host, was in frequent contact to ensure our stay was going well. I would highly recommend a stay in this lovely cottage.
