Muy bueno!

Se siente la cordialidad desde la recepción del Hotel. Los chicos siempre estuvieron dispuestos a apoyarnos con las recomendaciones de lugares a visitar, y cenar. Siempre atendiendo con una sonrisa. La habitación bastante amplia y tenía todo lo que se necesitaba. El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado.

An honest review.

The staff were lovely, it was just a shame the sound proofing on the rooms was so poor. You could hear the conversations of the people on either side. Also the fridge was super noisy and we had to unplug it. The smoke alarm flashed every couple of minutes so it was lucky I had a sleep mask but my mum really struggled as it was so bright! So unfortunately a really bad night sleep both nights.

Such a good stay!

It was a very good stay. We could be at the hotel from 2am to 12am the next day. Enough to profit of the sauna, jaccuzi, gym.. Maybe à problem with their wifi this day but it's a very food hotel with a big room and perfect Uruguayen breakfast

Location location location. Great spot to be settled in. Minute walks and rides to key destinations. Staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional! There’s nothing bad I can say about my stay. 5 stars on a budget price. I highly recommend this place. If I ever visit Montevideo again (which I plan to) this is the only place I would stay at! Love!

Lovely, welcoming staff. Great rooftop jacuzzi.

Only stayed one night but had a very pleasant stay. The only thing I found that dented my experience was our very noisy air conditioner at night.

Good for a short stay

Comfortable busy hotel within walking distance of some nice restaurant's, the mall and the sea.Breakfast was a big spread of reasonable quality.But some items were not replenished enough and the hot food not very hot.We were also very diaspointed to find the hot tub on the roof closed and the sauna you could not use as the light was not working (which was dismissed by reception when we informed them) Those were the main reason we booked the hotel.They should state not in use or remove the pictures from hotels.com

Modern and convenient hotel

This is a pretty new hotel very well located on a quiet street in Punta Carretas, just a couple of blocks from restaurants and bars. Since the hotel is surrounded by housed, all rooms have a lot of light. Very clean and everything looks new. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are nice and modern, though on the basic side.

We stayed here twice, first three nights and one more when back from Punta del Este because they had great service. Even though this is not a 5 star hotel, it is a very clean and nice place.

Confusing restaurant schedules

We stayed here for about 10 nights during wintertime, and heating and hot water worked impeccably. The hot air heater whirled up a lot of dust, that made us quite allergic from day one, it should not be necessary in a room with no carpet to have such a high level of dust (as seen on furniture after a few days). There is a tiny gym on the top floor, with a sauna we didn't try. The soundproofing is not good, I slept with earplugs. Otherwise the hotel is nice, helpful staff, and the food is good. Just that it is hard to get: The room service menu is very limited, and service stops sometime around 10 p.m. The different food service schedules are hard to grasp in the beginning, the breakfast personell refused to have us at 10:20 a.m. while the service was announced to stop at 10:30 all days. Dinner is announced in the elevator until 11:00 p.m. but in reality the kitchen doesn't make any food after 10:30. The weekday dinner buffet stops at 10:00 we learned, it was still there when we arrived at 9:56, but they wouldn't serve us. My advice to the hotel administrator: Make one simple schedule that is easy to understand for your clients, communicate it, stick to it like Swiss would do, and we don't care how much time after that your people need in order to clean the kitchen!

I paid a fee including parking however that service was never available. Acoustic isolation very poor. Thin walls. No toilet paper in the room when I arrived. The doors (bathroom, closet) were quite dirty. I asked please to clean them but there were no reaction from hotel side.

I would go there again

The hotel is small and nice, the room was big, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I had an issue with the hot water the first day I showered (in the middle of winter), luckily it was fixed the next day.

NEAT AND CLEAN

Just a great hotel outside of the touristy part of Montevideo. There is a mall, eating places, and things to do within a 5 block radius. Lots of bus options to get you to town. Room was large with a good bathroom...and all in good shape and clean.

Pretty good, but don't count on the gym

It was fine as a basic hotel. Price was good. Bathroom large enough with good lighting. I just didn't appreciate one of the desk clerks urging me to sign a form without reading it, and it contained a section written in Portuguese potentially leaving me liable for something. Good thing I speak Portuguese! This means things are a bit disorganized and some people need more training. The gym was much neglected and machines were in a dangerous condition or not working at all.

The Inter City has good accomodatiuon at a decent price. There is a new chef since the last time I stayed and the menu is much improved. Great value if the location suits you.
