We loved every thing about the property. The hot springs pools were amazing. The only bad thing is the ride from the airport. It’s takes 2.5 hours to get there by car. I recommend the helicopter ride instead.

This place is gorgeous! Photos don't do it justice. Both the property and the views were amazing. Also the unexpected free laundry facility near our room was so helpful in the rainforest. Meals were all delicious. Staff was everything we could ask for.

By far the best hotel in Arenal! The springs are amazing , and so much to do for couples or for families with kids . The staff is super accommodating. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is amazing the staff the rooms this is my third time here and I love it the only thing the breakfast is the same breakfast everyday they have to change a little bit the breakfast

from the Hotel to the staff everything was wonderful

Nice hotel. !!!!! I will stay at the hotel in a further!!!

Beautiful view of Arenal volcano from this resort.

If you understand there's a great chance it's going to rain and you may never see the volcano than you will love this place.

I hav stayed all over the world a lot of places. From hotels to hostels. This place was the best I have ever been. Amazingly helpful staff. Great activities and amenities. Best bang for the buck I’ve ever seen. Thus even upgraded us for free to a giant three bedroom suite. Wow!

We LOVED our stay at the Springs. We stayed at the sister property- Peace Lodge the first night of our honeymoon and couldn’t imagine a more magical place - The Springs might be even more amazing!! The attention to detail is incredible, every room & pool in this giant Resort is impeccably clean, the views and sounds and ambiance is perfection everywhere you go. We enjoyed club rio (at the resort) animal reserve tour & horseback riding ... next time we will rock climb & tube down the river!! The rain in the rainforest is so romantic & the perfect weather for the 20+ Natural hot spring pools!! This place is like heaven on earth- we are already planning our next trip!!

Warm welcome and we got free upgrade. Very clean. Spa needs some work.

My girlfriend and I spent a week at La Fortuna and decided to stay at different hotels/resorts in the area to get a feel of everything for the next time we visit. We are entrepreneurs in our late 20's from NYC and we love traveling as much as we can and are not picky at all. Let me just say that our experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible, I don't even know where to start. The entrance to the hotel is fairly hidden and consists of a couple mile stretch of terrible unpaved roads with so many potholes that a 4x4 should be recommended. This feels like part of the tourist trap strategy this resort aims for, making it super inconvenient to even leave/ re-enter, forcing guests to spend all time/money inside the facility. The food is very pricy and is very bland and barely a step up from a cheap diner or an Olive Garden... Yes, there are activities to do within the resort but everything costs about double as it would cost in town and excursion times are much shorter. The service is alright but one of the older female employees working at the main desk was absolutely abhorrent, besides providing very subpar assistance, she completely humiliated us during checkout, assisting multiple people behind us until we had to speak up. She held us in line and called roomservice to inspect our minibar to inform us that a milk is missing and that we must settle the account for $3.50 before we can leave acting snobby like we stole it and tried to run away.. what a joke. GO TO TABACON

It was our first time in Arenal and the hotel is the perfect place...

This was the most wonderful hotel ever. Staff, environment, everything was to die for. Truly a paradise in the center of the rain forest.

the hotel is awesome the only problem in my case was the mattres they has the worst and cheap mattres i never see in a 5 star hotel the food is expensive i pay 50 dls for 2 breackfast buffets

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nestled away right in the heart of the forest, but we never felt covered in bugs. Super clean, amazing views, fun activities. Note, can be expensive especially traveling to and from, but well worth it.

Everything about the resort was great!! Excellent service, kind staff, great food, beautiful resort! Only con was that we could not see arenal volcano due to bad weather...rainy clouds and fog.

This place is incredible, it's a remote resort secluded in the La Fortuna rainforest. No solicitors, no.time share presenters, no worries. Just pure scenic beauty and relaxation. Their is also plenty to do for the adventurous types. Everything from kayaking, ATV's, horse back riding, rock wall climbing, zip lining, nature walks it's more then a person or family can do in a week. The resort is riddled with hot springs that are nothing short of amazing. The rooms are grand and very clean, the staff is hospitable and attentive. They have 5 restaurants on the property that all serve pretty good food. Last but not least try to get a room at least on the second floor of the new building. The view of the Arenal Volcano was breathtaking. I'm a frequent traveller and this was truly one of the best if not thee best resort I've stayed at. A must visit!
