We spent three terrific days at this hotel. The rooms are great and the restaurant is terrific. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The spa facilities in the hotel are outstanding-- check with the hotel when you make your reservation to be sure they are included in your rate. My wife had a terrific massage on site. The hotel is out in the country, in a very small town. But it is a good hotel from which to base a visit to Urbino -- a must see. From the hotel to Urbino is about a 20 minute drive by car. If you are a cyclist, the hotel has quality road bikes to rent which are well maintained. Staff can recommend bike routes. Good riding, but keep in mind, while Le Marche is not mountainous, it is far from flat.)
weve stayed at this hotel twice, both times for just a night due to business nearby. the rooms were spacious & comfortable. the bathrooms are spacious too however in both our rooms the shower was a pain to use & we ended up flooding one of our bathrooms due to the door not shutting correctly. oops. breakfasts are ok, not good not bad, just ok. we had to keep asking for coffee otherwise we were not served coffee. we also used the restaurant on one occassion for dinner which was well serviced & the food really good. we did not make use of their spa facilities so cannot comment. the hotel is situated on magnificient land....so picturesque & its lovely to know this hotel is eco & energy efficient. we would stay here again but only for business trips, not for holiday.
What an amazing tranquil place tucked away from the maddening crowds, but not totally isolated. The location of this country house was ideal, with access from Pesaro Station or Ancona aeroporto. The rooms spacious and clean full of all the requirements needed, with free WIFI, amazing laundry service, complete wellness centre and a dining area and kitchen more suited to any restaurant than a country house. The evening meals were typical of the region and were served and recommended by the friendly staff. After cycling there was a staff member waiting to offer a light buffet lunch no matter the time, breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of local produce. Well worth the a stay for a relaxed and revitalised holiday.
we stayed at Ca'Virginia for a roadbike holiday. The house is very nice, we especially likes the old building and nice rooms. Everyone at Ca'Virginia is helpful and nice to the guests, we got a lot of information about bike tours, even maps and guides for the tours. Included was a light lunch and 3 course dinner in the restaurant, which was always delicious. We would recommend Ca'Virginia everytime and hope to go there again.
Ca' Virginia has not the magic and relax atmosphere you expect in such a place, especially for such a price. There's not a big selection of food, and the breakfast is pretty disappointing. The meat is very good, but all the rest is just fine. The spa is nice, provided you are lucky that the other guests are somewhere else (with more than 8 people it starts to be overcrowded). In my room the heating mechanism was producing a disturbing sound that made my sleep very difficult.
We booked a stay here via booking.com.We had a confirmed booking via email. After a 5 hour drive from southern tuscany on arrival we were informed that the hotel was full and that we were now booked into another hotel 10kms away. Instead of a country house hotel with spa, pool and restaurant this turned out to be a motel surrounded byscruffy blocks of flats. The response from the hotes receptionist was abrupt and discourteous If you book at this hotel do not be confident that your reservation will be honoured or that booking.com will accept any responsibilty.
This is an excellent place. It was beautiful. The restaurant was excellent as was the service. The staff was great. The only minor disappointment was the rooms, which are fairly traditional. Were we to be in the area again we would stay here.
We stayed here for 9 days and the property is an outstanding value. It has a very casual, Italian country atmosphere, informal but elegant, and very tasteful. The rooms are spotless and overlook the hills and other homes in the distance. There are two parts of the house, the original and an added wing with more rooms and the spa section. A considerable investment has been made in refurbishing the original house and blending the new construction with the old. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. The staff and management are very helpful and always offered a smile and warm welcome at the beginning of each day. The Directing Manager, Francesco, is everything I have come to expect of Italian Hospitality. He has tremendous pride and interest in his profession, and it shows. The food was well prepared, well served, and delicious, an authentic representation of the area and its bounty. The prices are well within reason, especially when you consider the quality and quantity of the food served, and the atmosphere of the dining room. We utilized Ca'Virginia as a base for visits to other villages and cities in the area, but you will absolutely need a car. If you enjoy hiking, treking, cycling, and nature, you are in for a treat as well. If you are looking for nightlife and constant entertainment, it is not the place for you.
Stayed for one night at this hotel. Saw it and the reviews on Trip Advisor. We found it very difficult to find. However, the website oversells this hotel big time. The hotel is quite small. When we arrived the grounds were unkempt. Although we were promised two king size bedrooms they showed us an apartment with one king size bed and bunk beds which were unsuitable. The management (who I have to say were VERY HELPFUL and PLEASANT) then gave us a different room with a sofa bed instead of a king size bed. The food in the restaurant was really good but overall, we were disappointed. It was clean, the food was nice but the hotel as a whole just fell short. We would not go out of our way to satay there again. This is unfortunate, because a lot of money has gone into the hotel but it just falls completely short of the 4 star rating. Also, the JCB digging a trench beside the pool just ruined what should have been a nice, relaxing start to our holiday. The staff were lovely though.
Da consigliare un luogo bellissimo e rigenerante in tutti i sensi da consigliare x una vacanza di pieno relax sono stata veramente bene tutto il personale e ' doc ritorneremo con piacere cibo eccellente tutti i prodotti sono dop
