This stately holiday home with pool is located just 1 km outside Monte San Savino on a small hill. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living area with dining room, open fireplace, bathroom and a rustic summer kitchen with pizza oven, which is pleasantly cool even in summer. A wide stone staircase leads via the loggia to the first floor: first you enter the large living/dining room with open fireplace, with adjoining modern kitchen; from here you continue to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A (steep!) staircase leads to the upper floor, where you reach the 4th bedroom and the bathroom via a small lounge with sofa bed.

In front of the house there is a shady patio seating area with barbecue; the pool area is behind the house, with level access directly from the holiday home. The special feature of this holiday home is the spacious park and natural grounds with a small pine forest, its own spring, olive groves and fruit tree meadow, with various seating areas and an area for ball games (badminton, volleyball, bocce). The caretaker lives in an outbuilding with separate access.

From here you can also easily reach the pretty little town of Monte San Savino on foot, where you will find various bars, good restaurants and gelaterias. For keen city travellers there are also Arezzo (20 km, also by train), Cortona 30 km, Siena 50 km and Florence 80 km. The warm thermal baths of Rapolano Terme are around 25km away; Lake Trasimeno is 35km away. Monte San Savino offers a wide range of cultural events in summer, especially concerts in the rose garden; on Wednesdays there is a colourful market. Unpaved access road 200m.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit viel Platz und schönem Pool

Wir waren drei Wochen im Sommer hier und haben die wunderbare Ruhe und die Sonne sehr genossen. Der sehr ansprechende Pool und die vielen Plätze unterm Sonnensegel laden zum (Sonnen-)Baden bis in den späten Nachmittag. (Das Poolwasser wird frühmorgens regelmäßig gereinigt und außerdem gibt es einen Poolroboter für den Poolboden.) Sehr schön ist der sehr große Tisch vor dem Haus, mit Sonnenschirm und Grill. Die vielen Räume und Zimmer sind rustikal und haben den Charme eines großen toskanischen Landhauses. Sehr großzügiges Wohnzimmer. Im Erdgeschoß herrscht eine sehr angenehme Kühle, aber auch oben keinesfalls zu heiß. Betten sehr gepflegt (auf Wunsch bekamen wir ein weiteres Doppelbett!). Badezimmer etwas älter, aber es funktionierte alles prima. Nach hinten gibt es einen direkten Zugang zum Poolbereich. Die beiden Küchen sind sehr gut ausgestattet, man hat insbesondere zwei Kühlschränke. Der Platz mit Blick auf den lieblichen Ort Monte San Savino ist herrlich, mit einem Aperitif kann man auf der kleine Veranda vor der Tür wunderbar die Zeit verbringen. Wegen der zentralen Makrolage bieten sich von hier herrliche Tagesausflüge nach Lucignano, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Florenz oder die Crete an. Die Zufahrt zum Anwesen ist nicht asphaltiert und ist vielleicht für einen tiefergelegten Sportwagen ungeeignet, aber ansonsten problemlos. Auf dem Anwesen stehen viele alte Bäume, die Schatten spenden. Für sämtliche Fragen stehen Mario oder der Besitzer umgehend und sehr freundlich zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist Toskana-Erfahrung pur! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Großzügiges, gepflegtes Anwesen für längeren Aufenthalt bestens geeignet!

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und großzügig eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mit allen Küchenutensilien und Gerätschaften ausgestattet, die für Zubereitung eigener Verpflegung gebraucht werden. Leider war es zum Baden bereits zu kühl. Ein sehr gut eingerichteter Grillplatz mit großem Tisch unter Bäumen lädt zum Feste feiern ein. Problematisch ist lediglich die Zufahrt auf den letzten ca. 200 Metern- diese ist eher für Geländewagen geeignet, aber bezwingbar. Leider hatten wir nur telefonischen Kontakt zu Herrn Andrea Sarcinelli, der uns eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Frau für Empfang und Abreiseregularien geschickt hatte. Wir danken für die vertrauensvolle Überlassung des Anwesens für einen leider viel zu kurzen Urlaub und wünschen Herrn Sarcinelli alles Gute und sagen: Arrivederci!
