Impeccable. Tout-à-fait conforme à notre attente.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Montauroux. En plus d'être conforme à nos souhaits et à la descriptions qui en avait été faite, nous avons apprécié la propreté des lieux ainsi que celle de la piscine entretenue quotidiennement. Cerise sur le gâteau, l'accueil de Francine et Daniel, les propriétaires, s'est avéré extrêmement chaleureux. Ils se coupent en quatre pour vous apporter satisfaction et vous aider si vous avez des questions concernant votre séjour. Concernant la région, nous avons découvert le lac de Saint Cassien, les petits restaurants dont certains de grande qualité (à ne pas rater Histoire sans faim à Montauroux village), mais aussi les villes plus connues (Gourdon, Saint Paul, Mougins). L'accès aux plages est également facile (Mandelieu: 10 Kms, Fréjus 18 Kms). Bref, ne pas hésiter à réserver chez Francine et Daniel pour quelques jours, une semaine comme nous ou plus longtemps. D'autant plus que l'endroit est particulièrement calme.

TRES DECEVANT - PAS DE CALME - PAS CONFORME AU DESCRIPTIF

La propriété n'est pas située "au bord du lac" comme annoncé, mais à 4- 5 km du premier parking praticable ( trajet impensable à effectuer à pieds ou à vélo, certainement avec des enfants ). Quand aux 15 minutes de Cannes etc, cela doit être soit en hélico, soit vers les 2h du matin avec en sus le paiement de la portion d'autoroute à emprunter ; par la nationale, comptez 45 minutes si il n'y a pas d'embouteillages. Le gîte "mimosas", situé à l'arrière de la propriété est entièrement sous les combles, donc très chaud, voire étouffant. Aucun massif, si petit soit-il, de mimosas à l'horizon pour justifier de l'appellation. Ce gîte se trouve donc à l'arrière de la propriété, avec un dénivelé important mais surtout très peu praticable même pour des adultes ; des chaussures de marche - voire de randonnée - sont à conseiller ; oubliez tongs, espadrilles et sandalettes... Impossible de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes pour aérer, il n'y a pas de moustiquaires ( alors que la partie privative des propriétaires en est pourtant équipée, elle ( sympa, non ? )) Ce gîte offre la particularité que la salle de bains + toilettes ne sont accessibles qu'en traversant le petit salon, qui est en fait la seconde chambre ; c'est envisageable avec de jeunes enfants, très dérangeant avec des ados ou un autre couple. Les canisses qui recouvrent la pergola de la terrasse en graviers se désagrègent, prendre un repas là-dessous est peu engageant. Venons-en au "calme" vanté dans le titre. Les jours 01 ( un dimanche ) - 02 - 03 - 04, nous avons eu droit à des travaux de maçonnerie / dallage, avec usage de perceuse à percussion imposante, table de sciage, burin et masse. Parfois vers les 085h15 - 09h00 ( et puis plus rien de la journée ) , parfois à l'heure de la sacro-sainte sieste. Pour un endroit calme, c'en est un de choix ! L'avant dernier jour, par vengeance ou que sais-je, c'est la voisine qui, sur les coups des huit heures, a décidé de faire une séance d'aspirateur de jardin durant une demie-heure Interrogée, la propriétaire a soutenu qu'il avait été impossible de faire effectuer ces travaux en mai ou juin. Elle n'aurait certainement pas imaginé les reporter à fin septembre ou octobre, non, sa terrasse devait être faite et ce au besoin au dépens des vacanciers. Il paraît en outre que la dernière semaine de juin avait été marquée par les débroussaillages et élagages, que " c'est ainsi par ici. C'est donc un mauvais souvenir et je ne conseillerais certainement pas l'endroit
