This home is nested on 12 acres of pure tranquility backing up to a 100 acre cattle farm. You will get to enjoy peace and quite while you get away from it all. Property has a 2 acre pond, above ground swimming pool (Seasonal Memorial Day-Labor Day), cleared dirt walking/riding trails, fire pit, and fenced in backyard so the kids can play without worry.
We are located only 10 miles from Athens so you can enjoy the game and have only a short ride home. Perfect spot for a tailgate with your friends and family.

The only thing I would say is that the fry pans and cooking utensils need to be updated. House had plenty of room and we would book again. We did appreciate the quick response fir any issues.

Lovely Setting

I had out of state family stay here for a reunion in the area. It served the purpose very well. The only complaint would be that it didn’t seem as clean as one would hope and I’m not any kind of clean freak. Nothing major, just didn’t seem like it had been cleaned properly for a while. When the next reunion comes around I’ll be happy to revisit it though!

Great getaway for the weekend

Had a great weekend here with our kids. Took them to the GA game, which is only 30 minutes away. They enjoyed the pool and pond on the property. The house had everything we needed and we slept comfortably. The owner responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend!

Private location away from traffic and crowds.

Nice spot to meet up with family to celebrate our son's graduation away from Athens. We were able to cook/eat at home which allowed less time waiting in lines/driving and more quality time with family.

We rented this location for our family who lives across the country and those her

The property is secluded and could be really nice if taken care of. The house was not clean and there is multiple piles of junk around the property from old mattresses to old toilets just dumped around the property. The inside was not clean at all . There was no internet. I was just disappointed and would not rent here again. It’s too bad since it could be such a lovely secluded get away if taken care of and cleaned .

Wonderful spot for a large group

GREAT stay. Our group of 8 stayed for a UGA football game. Slept everyone comfortably and reasonable distance to Athens 20 min or so. Enjoyed the pool table/living room set up, but really didn’t spend a lot of time at the house. Most time was spent in Athens. Great value for a ‘Dawgs game, but property would really be nice for a large family gathering or a weekend out of the city. Very peaceful with great amenities.

Girls trip!!

We stayed at this property for our girls trip to Covington. Property was about 10 min or so to the main street area of Monroe. Great little town. As well as grocery store. Location was perfect. House was awesome. Private. Pool was great for the girls. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Pool table was an added bonus for us. The front porch with rockers were great.. The property was amazing. Owners were quick to respond. Check in and out process could not of been easier. A great trip had by all.
