Character B & B in old town close to beach.

Hosts Mara and Cesare are lovely - welcoming, helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Our apartment was large, v. clean and tastefully furnished. As I expected, being in an ancient town with narrow streets, noise was an issue. I didnt expect it to be an issue so late into the night though! The locals throughout the region were friendly, many didn't speak English but I enjoyed trying out my basic Italian. The Gelato at The Napoli Bar is a must. They have lots of flavours. A Lemon Granita is to die for and oh so refreshing if you find yourself at a bar that serves them. We travelled by local train and bus to sightsee and to transfer from the airport. This was cost effective and easy to do with transport running to time. (Always visit the Information Desk for maps etc before you leave the airport.) I plan to re visit the region one day and would happily stay at Carpe Diem again.

Hatten ein schönes sehr zentrales Appartement. War ein echt entspannter Urlaub. Schöne StrĂ€nde,super Restaurants und Cocktailbars sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Unterbringung in einem nicht gebuchten Zimmer

Der Vermieter brauchte die Zimmer in Largo S.Giovanni fĂŒr andere GĂ€ste, denn er lagerte uns kurzerhand und ungefragt in eine Unterkunft aus, die ca 80m entfernt in einem eiskalten dunklen Kellergewölbe lag, das uns zwang, selbst an warmen sonnigen Maitagen zu heizen und das Licht einzuschalten. Das Doppelbett und das winzige fensterlose Bad war ĂŒber eine schmale steile Treppe zu erreichen und genau so dunkel und unfreundlich. Das Zimmer kam nicht in der Beschreibung und keinem der Fotos vor und wir hĂ€tten es auch niemals gebucht. Zudem wurde uns das zweite Bett, das im Gesamtpreis enthalten sein mĂŒsste, mit 15€ tĂ€glich zusĂ€tzlich verrechnet, was wir letztendlich nicht bezahlt haben. (Gebucht war ein Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten). Einmal gab es kein FrĂŒhstĂŒck fĂŒr uns, weil zu viele GĂ€ste da waren. Trotzdem endete der Aufenthalt in freundlichem, versöhnlichen Ton. Vielleicht sind die anderen Wohneinheiten von Carpe Deum trotzdem zu empfehlen, diese jedenfalls nicht. Insgesamt: Unprofessionell gefĂŒhrtes B&B, von dem ich abraten wĂŒrde.

Avkopplande B&B i den gamla staden

Som första svenska gĂ€sterna kan vi varmt rekommendera ett besök. PĂ„ ankomstdagen blev vi uppmötta vid Cala Portavecchia (stranden). B&B ligger vĂ€ldigt nĂ€ra stranden! Det finns ingen reception i denna B&B-lĂ€genhet sĂ„ man har enbart kontakt med vĂ€rdparet vid ankomst/ utcheckning, övrig tid fĂ„r man ringa eller SMS dem. Betalning sker vid incheckning, enbart i kontanter! Bokade "Comfort Apartment w/ Terrace" för 3 pers, men vid ankomst blev det nĂ„got fel med priset. VĂ„ra papper visade 3 pers sĂ„ de gav oss vĂ„ra nĂ€tter för priset av 2 & bĂ€ddade en extrasĂ€ng LĂ€genheten var vĂ€ldigt mysig, ljus, ren och modern, nyrenoverat. IKEA-inredning. PĂ„ entrĂ©plan finns dusch/wc, ett kök med kylskĂ„p/gasspis/ugn. Matplats, TV, soffa/ihopfĂ€llbar extrasĂ€ng, fjĂ€rrstyrd AC. ÖvervĂ„n. finns dubbelsĂ€ng, TV & fjĂ€rrstyrd AC & extrasĂ€ng. Stor uteplats med plats för 4 personer pĂ„ taket. OBS! att trappstegen i hela lĂ€genheten Ă€r mycket höga. Wi-Fi Ă€r fritt i hela lĂ€genheten,bra uppkoppling! Italiensk frukost, vĂ€ldigt sparsam. Bestod av egenbakat bröd, smĂ„kakor och en stor fruktskĂ„l med nĂ€rodlad frukt. Man fĂ„r sĂ„ledes stĂ„ för frukostinköpet sjĂ€lv, snabbköp finns en kort promenad bort. Vid svensk lunchtid Ă€r köket uppskattat, dĂ„ alla restauranger Ă€r stĂ€ngda under siestan (öppnar 19:00) VĂ€rdparet var strĂ„lande, önskar dem all lycka till. De erbjöd sig uthyrning av cyklar, arrangemang av bĂ„tturer & sevĂ€rdheter. Vi har varit jĂ€ttenöjda med vĂ„r vistelse! Rekommenderas varmt till ett ungt par utan barn
