I have stayed at this hotel before, it's very clean and breakfast it2 good! The only thing I dont like is that they go in your room when your not there and turn off the A/C. And lately it gets so pack that you have to wait to eat breakfast and they set up tables around pool to eat but the sun too much, So you end up all sweaty. And the reason i wont go back, is because their was a big family in the pool, maybe 45 to 50 people and my room was by the pool. They were drinking had an amplifier by the pool and were super loud, I had never seen that, and I reported, but manager was not there and it was close to midnight when they finally got them out. When you let guest run the hotel and dont enforce rules, that affect other guest. You loose business ,like mine and I travle to Monclova at least once a month!
The whole team are fantastic. They are always cheerful and, above all, extremely efficient. The rooms are extremely well maintained. The breakfasts are a great start to the day. The restaurant food is among the best in Monclova; and the location is excellent. Well done everyone!
The staff are super-friendly: reception, restaurant & room service, The waiters have a great sense of humour. The food is simple, but of excellent quality. The breakfast is just what you need to start the day. The pool very tempting, but no time to use on this occasion! The room is comfortable and everything worked. Location: a slight problem at the moment, as the Town is making Bd Juarez one-way, but there is an easy way in (round the back)!
My wife, infant son, and I recently stayed over the Christmas holiday. We were there from December 21, 2013 until December 27, 2013 and our experience there was frankly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The service provided by the staff was sub-par and our complaints were either ignored or outright dismissed by the staff. The most notably bad experience of the trip came on the day we were checking out when my wife was told directly, by the general manager, and I quote, “Quiero que se vayan del hotel.” Translation: “I want you to leave the hotel.” We requested to meet with him to discuss our complaints and we were met with nothing but a rudeness and we were blamed directly for our own bad experience, the manager citing that our bad experience was our fault because we had not properly made our requests, whatever that’s supposed to mean. His comments was punctuated with sarcasm and rolling eyes with no attempt at trying to apologize or even make ammends in any way. In the end, my final comment to the manager was that we were glad it was our last day and that he and his staff should learn something about customer service and hospitality if they plan to run a decent hotel. To say the least, we will never be staying at the hotel again.
The rooms are very clean as well as the pool, gymn and restaurant. However, I need Wi-Fi for my business and the Comfort Inn was disappointing. The receptionists did nothing to fix the issue. Although the receptionist explained that their wifi tech was outsourced and that....blah, blah. I did not care why only that the Comfort Inn did not perform like it promised. The three days that I was at the hotel several guests attempted to connect to the wifi in e reception area only to be disappointed. One guest mentioned that "this bad wifi is typical of the Comfort Inn." Bad business practice! Therefore, my recommendation, if you are wifi dependent then you must stay away.
Could not imagine a better hotel to stay at while traveling through Monclova. Nice clean pool, very clean rooms, private guarded parking and a nice staff make this hotel a bargain. Walking distance are a handful of restaurants including what appears to be the most popular pizza restaurant in Mexico right across the street!
