I have to say that I haven't stayed here yet, but they have been so kind to me. My 16 year old son and I were to travel to Europe in August 2017. My son had a freak accident (broke his back) 3 days before we were to leave on our trip. I had to scramble to cancel everything, and no I didn't have trip insurance. This hotel was so kind and offered a full refund, wished my son a speedy recovery, and was all around kind.We are planning a trip for June 2018, and will definitely plan on staying here and thanking them personally for the kindness.
The service was exceptional and exceeded expectations. As soon as we arrived, we felt a warm welcome, with all the information provided, without our having to ask, despite how busy they were. Our entire stay was most enjoyable and we would love to return. We were initially thinking of staying at a Holiday Inn closer to where we were supposed to be, but are glad that we changed our plans to stay at this property. Our great experience was due to people like Petar at the front desk, Christine, Julia and Sacha at the restaurant, and the helpful responsiveness of Auriane Maury, who manages the team well. I highly recommend this property, especially for families. Our kids loved it.
We stayed here for five nights late in August. Very close to everything in Monaco. Nice rooms with comfy beds. They have an excellent breakfast buffet which was included for platinum or gold members. Free wifi for Marriott rewards members also. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and it was good. The service in France/Monaco is slow so don't be in a hurry. There's a small pool on the property and the beach is a quick 5 min walk. The hotel will arrange a ride from the airport for you for $125 euros- 115 for the return trip. If you really want a splurge they will arrange for a helicopter ride to and from the airport for $175 euros per person. Next time! We also had the concierge book us a few half day trips.
Great hotel with beaches in walking distance as well as Monaco proper. Great view of the port. Room was comfortable and the staff was excellent. The entrance to the parking was not obvious, but easily accessible once found.
Our son recommend this hotel to us as it's one of his favourites in this part of Monte Carlo. The entrance is not the most impressive I have seen as it's down a slope and a bit dingy. However, inside opens out to bright airy reception area. Check in was flawless ,although they do require a €300 card token payment, and we were in our room in minutes. Our room ,217, was large with full facilities overlooking the Monaco FC training pitch. Large bed, ironing board, tv, plenty of storage space and a free safe. Note, free safe! Compliments to the housekeeping staff. Pre book the breakfast , well worth it. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the main tourist spots. A number 6 bus, just outside the hotel, will take you from one end of Monte Carlo to the other for €2. Outside seating areas are comfortable and the bar staff are very attentive. Drinks are not cheap but your paying for the area, view and staff. The Burger van outside does a great burger and it's no problem to eat it while sitting in the outside seating area. Overall we could see why our son spoke so highly of the hotel. Personally I would pay extra for a room with a marina view, because I like looking at flash boats! Only downside was the confusion and awkwardness when we checked out regarding a clerical error concerning our pre paid breakfasts, hopefully this has been corrected. Would I recommend? Definitely.
Decent rate for our recent 2day boys trip to Monaco. It's a 20min walk to Casino Square, located just by Stade Louis but they operate a drop off shuttle bus service. Atem in guest services was superb help As it's just outside Monaco in Cap d'Ail, Uber works here for longer trips ;-) Excellent comfort beds, good aircon, good wifi, good views of harbour
We stayed here for 5 nights from 24th July and couldn't fault it. Great location and walking distance to the town centre but a free shuttle is available should you prefer not to walk. The staff were always very attentive to our needs and very helpful, always going that extra mile for us. It made our stay here even better and more enjoyable in this stunning part of the world!
We stayed overnight at the Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco before boarding a 12 night Mediterranean Cruise. The location was perfect. Our room was very comfortable like any Marriott would be. We had a small balcony that overlooked the water and a sea of beautiful luxury yachts. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The restaurant was good, the place was clean. All in all a great experience. One that we won't forget.
After leaving the Marriott Monaco and paying my bill, and flying back to England, then the Marriott Monaco started taking money, from my account.and still having trouble explaining. Why thay have done this,I've phone Thomson holidays who I booked it through, to be told that use another company (and becouse of that, its sod all to do with them,so anyone traveling to the Marriott Monaco, don't hand your card over, and anyone using Thomson holidays, don't bother, use another company (thay do why pay them.
Absolutely an incredible experience! I can recommend the sea view to everybody, what a stunning view from our balcony. Beautiful hotel at a perfect location, nice rooms and very helpful staff. Score; A+, we’ll definitely come back!
