I was here for a weekend only with my daughter and 2yr old grandson and had a great stay. Perfect for our one day Monaco escapade. Their staff is very helpful to arrange our transfers from airport to our chosen tourist spots plus where to eat. Almost all staff were very friendly except for their cleaning lady in the toilet at the lobby area.. she was rude and somewhat irritating asking me to clean the watermarks on the lavatory (faucet water runs so strong.. i cant control it) . At first i didnt know she was the cleaning lady til i saw her picking up the garbage and checking each toilet seats. Anyway i cleaned up the wet sink as ordered by her to the dismay of my daughter. I wont let her spoil a fabulous Monaco weekend ! Theres only one problem though .. transport from Nice airport to Monte Carlo is more expensive than our hotel room coz of the baby car seat we require. And sad to say the car seat on our travel back to Nice wasnt safely installed by the driver .. who happens to be ignorant about baby car seats..(airport transfer is a 3rd party not Marriotts) .
Really nice hotel with fantastic view from the rooms. The breakfast was really good with a lot to choose from. Friendly staff and good service. Free shuttle to 4 different places in Monaco. I really recommend this hotel.
The personal is very friendly the hotel is clean and nice location . WiFi , parking garage . Clean rooms but the style not up to date . All in all good, but the rooms really need a up to date . I stay there and real feel welcome . Compliments to all the team .
We stayed here for a few days. The rooms are spacious and clean. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, they treated us like Royalty. There’s a grocery store about 8 minutes walk which has a great selection of wine! Our room had a view of the mountain!
It is not as famous, nor as elegant as the Intercontinental in Cannes, but it is again receiving quality service, what we know about the good level of standard service, Marriott, US standard. Perfect location, spacious rooms, ocean view, nice terrace, spacious bathrooms, clean and with everything you need for a permanent traveler.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week in September, our third stay in the last 18 months or so Although the hotel is actually in Cap D'ail, South of France ,it is literally a few yards from the Monaco boundary It is beautifully situated facing the port with it's wonderful yachts and the Mediterranean beyond The staff are absolutely top class here, all very welcoming, polite and attentive- it would be wrong to single any one person out for special praise as all they all deserve a mention! We were lucky enough to have a room on the third floor with an extended balcony with the usual table and chairs and the addition of two lovely sun loungers We were on a bed and breakfast deal as per our earlier visits and the food a was excellent, lots of cold buffet style as well as the usual hot station with eggs, bacon, sausage etc The hotel offers a curtesy bus to the usual visitor attractions ( which are also easily reached on foot if you are fit enough! ) Fontvielle, in Monaco is just a short stroll from the Hotel and here you will find several high quality restaurants as well as another lovely port
Due to the business we came to because the hotel is adjacent to the marina neighborhood, the stat de luise ll be right across from the nl, the location is very nice. The staff are smiley faced and helpful. The rooms are clean but the building is elderly and needs a refurbishment as there is a lack of security cameras in the corridors.
Beautiful location, I had a room overlooking the harbour of Monaco which was a fantaistic view to start your day with. The hotel is just a 15 minute walk from the city centre and arranges shuttle busses to the top of the mountain.
Stayed here over the weekend and it went from better to better. we were greeted by a lovely ladies on the desk very pleasant & helpful. we wanted to change or room from a king to twin bed and the manager (Johanna) was so nice about it she also in formed us of where the best bars was, where good to eat how to get the day bus pass just any question we asked she was willing to help with a friendly way (and the was 8 of us). Our room was on the 11th floor with a harbour view with absolutely breath taking views. The room was a great size very clean with robes, slippers plenty of towels just all things you would want in a room. towel was changed daily a free water was away stocked in the mini bar. If your not a Marriott member you do have to pay for Wifi in your room and the safe is free. we also had breakfast which we booked when we arrived for 15 euro a day pp. you had a good choice of food and drink. only bad thing I can say is that they could refill the hot buffet quicker but they did when we asked. Bar staff was all so very helpful and friendly over all i would come back and stay here in a heart beat.
Stayed here with my wife and son, great location overlooking the harbour and palace, staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was great, the hotel caters for all with a swimming pool on site and beach close by. The hotel restaurant is good with reasonable prices, however there are other restaurants close by. The hotel is located on the border with Monaco so if you are fit you can walk across the imaginary border or grab a cab. The rooms are pricey but have look where you are. The only down side is you are charged for your wifi unless you have a Marriott rewards card. I would definitely return to this hotel.
