Terrible booking through Cancelon ! Made me pay for 3 nights instead of 2 and refused to reimburse! I have been booking through internet over 10 years and have never ever seen such a lack of professionalism to say the least ! A rip off Literally!
We are visiting this hotel for many years and we were satisfied. There are lately some years where the employee attitude is not the same and the hospitality we use to have is not any more there. In addition we were given a room with such noise from a nearby construction that we were not able to get some rest. This was horrific and when we asked to be given a quiet room we then have not been treated the way we should . The employee was rude and had not provide us with alternatives We will not stay at that hotel again
I went there with a whole let of fellow work colleagues,it was lovely, the lagoon was superb, although I can't comment about the restaurants as most things were preplanned for us,I did order room service once and it was lovely.
Quiet room, excellent service, amazing pool. Free and reliable WiFi (but you can pay for more) Almost all room have a sea view (on the garden or directly) One cool thing was a « chair » in the elevator. I never saw this in other hotels and I liked it. I was in October and the full pool (the « lagoon ») was not opened, indeed it is opened based on the number of guests in the hotel. The only opened part was an indoor and outdoor pool which is compared to other hotels large and luxury. You have not to provide your room number when entering in the pool which is unusual and I liked it (the access to the locker room requires the room card). There are actions against global warming (towel/lundary saving, soap distributor to get only what you need) without putting pression on you. I was asking if I should note it as excellent and I was looking for reasons not to. I found out that you cannot cancel a floor call in the elevator by double clicking on a button like you can do in hotels in Asia. This is minor. The reason I’m not setting it to excellent is the level of complimentary service. 7.5 euros for a bottle of water in the mini bar is a expensive (and other hotels I saw did include one small botter per day) The price showed for other services is above the price I’m used to see. To conclude with a positive surprise, there was a see horse toy for the bath. I took it for my children.
Had the pleasure of staying here for a day while on our honeymoon. This place is incredible. The staff is super helpful with everything. The amenities are all there. The view extraordinary. Extra points for the perfect breakfast. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. They even left goodies for us in our room when we told them that we were visiting for our honeymoon . We were on the 4th floor and asked if we could move to the 8th floor for better view, they switched us within minutes without any fuss. We had planned to get a taxi to get there but all taxis were busy due to the yacht show then. We contacted the hotel who then got us through to the taxi service and we finally got one within a few minutes. 6 out of 5 stars for me.
Great rooms, and cozy balcony with nice seating areas. The pool area is very nice, no beach but possible to swim in the sea. walking distanse to most things. Both indoor and outdoor pool. Spa facilities, hair and makeup salong, fitness room available.
This is hard to review as really nothing was wrong, just nothing truly special. On arrival bell boys barely looked up, leaving us to drag our bags inside. Felt like they were waiting for Bentley’s or Lambos to pull in. Damn, my cars are back in Australia! Room wasn’t ready for 1.5hrs even though we arrived at 3pm after travelling for 6hrs. Not sure whether I was disappointed with the hotel, or just Monaco overall. Everything is overpriced, and there’s actually not much to do here outside of spending time in the sun by the pool. Yacht show next weekend and end of European holiday season, so it was a bit of a dull town. After Saint Tropez I was disappointed. Having travelled a month around Europe, in 7 countries, Monaco and Monte Carlo Bay is the only place I probably won’t visit again. Unless I get that big super yacht one day, then I’ll be back! The good bits.. pool bar service was awesome. Very friendly and efficient, genuine hospitality. Pool was also good, and plenty of sun while we were there. Gin Bar was also superb. Casual and laid back with a great view and good cocktails. One of the better bars we came across in Monaco. And housekeeping.. the lady that serviced our room was lovely, and did everything she could to make an impression.
If you want a Summer holiday where everything is at your fingertips, then the Monte Carlo Bay is the perfect place. Surrounded by water, your choices are endless. Take an early morning sea pool swim, a freshwater pool dip or even a paddle in the sandy bottom lagoon surrounded with sun lounges and services like none other. Food choices are outstanding, starting with a buffet breakfast that suits all tastes. Fully equipped gym, yoga, or pilates. Hair salon and lash bar, and a drug store for anything you have forgotten. There's a night club and lively coffee shop where the french patisseries are just too yummy, and there is even a casino. The standard rooms are more than adaquite, and the suites grow larger per level. The free wifi suffers under the pressure of the summer crowds, but with such a beautiful outlook, you probably should be looking up not down. Overall it's a fabulous hotel.
Love everything about this hotel.Second stay here and hope to stay again next summer.Lovely breakfast, polite staff, amazing pool and surrounding area, room and balcony great.Cannot fault the hotel and would highly recommend. You would not be disappointed. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and my birthday, which was acknowledged.Should be a 5-star hotel!Thank-you for such a special stay.
One of the best hotels to stay. Sand on the bottom of the pool, amazing views of the water. A nice walk to sass and other nice restaurants and clubs. Food and service was on point. Rooms were spacious. We really go for the pool to be fair. Also a small casino inside
