I have stayed in many prestigious hotels around the world and this was by far the best. The staff are worth a special mention, so friendly and helpful, they could not do enough nothing was too much trouble. I could not fault the stay at all, worth the money in my opinion.

The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is absolutely beautiful, we were greeted immediately by welcoming and helpful staff who were on hand to help throughout our stay. The hotel itself is breathtaking and has such great facilities. It is fantastically located, right in the heart of Monte Carlo and less than a minute walk away from the famous Casino. I would definitely stay again!

What a beautiful and stunning hotel. Staff are amazing, location, amenities and hotel is beautiful. Stay here for a private, beautiful getaway. The pool was a beautiful way to unwind after a day of walking around Monaco. The staff assisted in securing dinner reservations and were very kind and down to earth which is always so refreshing in a hotel of this calibre.

This is one of my favorite places to have a sophisticated cocktail in an elegant setting. The decor has a west Asian feel to it. Kind of the British Indian vibe. The staff are at the pinnacle of fine service. The cocktails are quite nice. Often it’s difficult to find sharp cocktails in Monaco so it’s a real pleasure to find a place like the Metropole that serves a sophisticated cocktail. The scene is always interesting here. Lots of elegantly dressed women. Many of the locals come here for evenings out so it can be busy. Reservations are recommended. The food is also very fine here. For lunch or a casual dinner it’s perfect. Prices? C’est Monaco!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and then checked in. But I left the paper in the room to get a Tex-Refund. I called the hotel from the airport and reception staff and house keeper took pictures of the paper and quickly sent it to me. But I needed real paper, and they sent mail to my house. I would like to say thank you to the house keeper 'Taline' at Metropole Hotel.

This beautiful Hotel is ideally located for Casino Square and also a short walk away from the Port so you have the best of both worlds with bars, restaurants etc. The staff are fantastic - very welcoming and warm - nothing is too much trouble. We had a snack and drinks in the bar area. The bill as you would expect was expensive but I really enjoyed the ambience. Many others were enjoying afternoon tea which again looked very appetising. We were so delighted that we also had a chance to enjoy the superb Christmas decor in the foyer before it was taken down after 6th night - it was spectacular. The rooms were very comfortable (Hermes toiletries which smelt gorgeous). We were given a complimentary 'Epiphany' cake to celebrate the occasion with info regarding a piece of porcelain to be found within it and the history behind that tradition which I loved (I've kept the porcelain cake I found as a good luck momento!). We experienced the new Givenchy Spa and pool area - both were a joy. The terrace I would imagine in the Summer will be a perfect location for post treatment drinks in the sun. Upon check out, my husband was given a beautifully presented box of macaroons as it was his Birthday - a lovely gesture which we appreciated. The Metropole Shopping Centre right next door is an added bonus with amazing shops. The only thing which was not explained to us was that we were given cards with our room key (Lifestyle cards) and we weren't told what they were for. It was only upon reading the room literature on the last day I realised we could use these to get into the Casino for free (we had already paid the previous night and could not get a refund ) and you would get a discount if purchased an item from a qualifying shop in the Metropole Shopping Centre so be aware what these cards are for and make the most of them! We didn't realise that the shops are closed on a Sunday in France so we did waste these cards sadly. However, we definitely made the right decision to stay here given that I was considering the Hermitage and Hotel De Paris too. When we return we will most definitely be staying at the Metropole. Absolutely loved my stay - thank you to all the lovely staff.

This hotel exceeded every expectation my family and I had! From the moment we arrived until we said goodbye we received incredible service. It was extremely family friendly, our room was setup with a crib, change table, diaper pail and infant tub. It truly had all the comforts from home. The hotel is stunning, had a very regal feel, and was in walking distance from shopping, dining and casinos. The restaurant in the hotel was one of tge best meals we ever had and the service matched the quality.

Loved this place! a favorite of the Grimaldi family might actually see one of them in the lobby. One of the classic 3 of Monaco, providing great service and attention to detail. They provide a car service to the Nice airport which even though it's quite pricey, it's totally worth it. Rooms are small and need a bit of updating but still...pretty swanky. The hotel was renovating its pool when we were there but to be honest...I never heard any construction noise! Perfect location! steps away from the casino. The concierge was just perfect! I wanted to go hiking and in a matter minutes, he found me the most amazing guide. only complaint- the pungent hotel fragrance...too much for my sensitive nose to handle...a mixture of patchouli with myrrh and incense ....needs to be taken down a notch.

We visited Monaco in December 2017. The service was great and the concierge made reservations and getting around a treat. The room was spacious and comfortable. the pool was the perfect warm temperature to escape the winter cold and the bar area was very quaint. We highly recommend.

Stayed here for 4 days( for the price of 3-through Kirker) just before Christmas. The staff know your name within minutes and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely efficient and welcoming and nearly all staff speak English fluently. Although not inexpensive, this is one hotel where you get value for money. The breakfasts are first rate. Excellent Hermes products in the bathroom. It has now become our favourite hotel in the world. The swimming pool is brilliant and heated in the winter when it is enclosed (including access to sauna and hammam - all at no extra cost). Also, of course, they have Joel Robuchon's 2 star restaurant on-site (which is reasonably priced for lunch). Highly recommended.
