Every effort was made by the staff to make our stay exceptional. The Odyssey restaurant experience was spectacular. Joel Robuchon restaurant experience was excellent but I do feel it missed a bit of passion.
The hotel is gorgeous - Belle Époque style - the lobby is spectacular- the rooms are spacious but lack sufficient outlets for cellphone charging etc - the acclaimed Joel Roubechon restaurant is located in the hotel - the food is good but soooooo expensive for what it is- the recommended item is the mashed potatoes - they are delish - but 15 euro for a small portion - the hotel staff is very accommodating but the service in the restaurant is inconsistent- the location is perfect - near the casino - shopping - hop-on- hop-off bus- - Monaco is so beautiful- clean - safe and friendly - enjoy !!!!!
We have been several times to the Metropole over the past few years and it continues to surpass its own high standards. This visit was no exception - it feels somehow to have had an extra sparkle and polish so that it positively gleams with excellence and genuine hospitality. The staff are very elegant and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble - the lobby is exceptional - beautiful and comfortable with glorious flowers. It feels like a treat from start to finish. Bravo Metropole - marvellous.
This was the only Hotel that I have never stayed in Monaco. And I will not regret to return again, the price for quality and service and room type is crazy.. I don’t recommend to anyone. The staff in the reception are not nice people they think that they are stars and VIP people not You. Before dinner I when to the bar to have a drink , and in the floor of my table just on a place that everybody can see .. a piece of spaghetti from the last person that should had dinner there .. how is possible that nobody could see it ?? At 4:30 in the mooring nobody is on the reception, my keys where not working and I wait 10 minutes for someone to show up. Amazing on a 5 star hotel that this happen. The staff of the concierge and the staff that welcomes you are very very good and professional, I ask where I could clean my car, and they took care of it .. very nice and thanks. Breakfast room very poor on a hotel like this, a small buffet table with small choice . even In Monaco the crisis have arrive to the hotel industry .. even the orange juice is from bottle, is not a squid one ..!!! The room is very very small.. I do know How I can fit inside with all the luggage that we have ... the noise that you hear inside the room from the street, other rooms and the corridor is not acceptable on a Hotel like this. Wc of the room very small , it seams is a wc for kids ... I don’t understand.. So in conclusion I don’t recommend this hotel in Monaco bad experience.
For one what a city. For two what a hotel. It was like stepping into a new world. The walls have fabric wallpaper the skirting boards have lights in them to guide your way at night. The room, food, staff everything was top of the range. It maybe pricey city and hotel but was worth every penny to experience pure luxury. You will not be disappointed by this hotel!
Hotel is nice i come there for 4-5 years lobby is nice and relaxing good for drink or even lunch . Swimming pool is amaZing designed by Karl lagerfed and just renoveted this year but... its a problem if u stay in this hotel in season and wake up after 10.30 u have very low chance to catch a bed eventually they will tell u to go one floor up on some taras but is not nice like next to pool . Breakfast in pool its nice but nothing special. Location of hotel is amazing next to shopping mall and walk distance from main square . Rooms are nice but extra small and some strange issue electrycity points only on floor .... in spa by givenchy no hairdresser but its look very nice . I didnt like the food in lobby this year it went down with standard ( maybe robuchone not manage kitchen anymore there much) burgers was low level bread not good and beef also everage my friend was eat salads and pasta and say was good. Staff are nice and what i notice same people for few years .on pool in the night u can have food and drinks and its look stunning ! So with all minus here and there still. A best hotel in montecarlo
The hotel is mystical and authentic to French style. The people were kind and accommodating. The food was excellent. The seats at pool are limited so reserve yours or go down early. Room service is quick and well presented. The lobby is beautiful. The concierge is knowledgeable and helpful. The mall next door was so convenient and the designer shops across the hotel in the park was beautiful to visit and also very convenient. Everything is close by at walking distance to art galleries, casino, restaurants and bars. It's really a perfect place to visit.
Spent four nights here and can't praise it enough. The hotel is in a great location and very luxurious but what really makes it is the staff. I haven't stayed anywhere with more attentive and friendly service. Outstanding!
Superb hotel in a perfect location. We stayed there to celebrate my wife birthday, the hotel is awsome. The location is perfect to live Montecarlo life. The staff was absolutly friendly and efficient. The pool and the restaurant were just perfect
When you enter the hotel you feel at home. A wonderful home !, Unfortunately the Spa is not as the same level as the hotel. It is very expansive but the average quality is medium. The manager? / receptionist seems to have no experience at all
