Magnifique! The Hotel is a grand, historical place, with a luxurious ambiance that envelopes you the moment you step into the lobby of the hotel. My room had a sea view, and it was tastefully decorated. The location is perfect for exploring Monte Carlo on foot, as everything of interest, is within close proximity. I loved living on a bubble for a moment, Oh, the excitement of seeing the Prince visiting the same hotel, was just a cherry on top

Really good level. Very well welcome staff. Charming and stylish. In the heart of Monte Carlo, great location offered short walk to the casino Monte Carlo and the famous square Golden Square. The stay in this hotel is memorable. Really recommend.

Thanks to Amex the Hotel upgraded my suite . It was a huge space with sitting room extra powder room , a walk in closet etc. Very comfortable feeling , which is something more than space. The two cafe bars were pleasant and the formal restaurant where I invited friends was as good as its reputation. in the heart of Monte carlo , close to everything. Good swimming and spa facilities of Societe des bains de mer.

This is a really difficult review for a hotel which is undoubtedly stunning and in a great location. I have nothing bad to say about the room, the view (what a view!) and all other public spaces: this is one of the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. But a hotel is not just the walls and the way staff handles issues is also very important. After being graciously given an upgrade at check in, I went to my beautiful non smoking room to find that it reeked of cigarette. So I went back to reception to request a different room, at which point I thought I would get a smile, an apology and a new room - and yes - I did all of this in French to avoid misunderstandings. A new, non smelly room wasn’t going to happen that easily....I was told by the very kind receptionist that I would have to go back to my room, wait for house keeping and they would de-ionise the room later that night; I insisted that I really wanted a different room and they just told me again to go to my stinky room and wait. About 15 minutes later, the first housekeeping lady comes in, and - with a very surprised tone - agreed that “yes, in fact the room really smells” and that I would have to stay in my room and wait until she could speak to her manager. 15 minutes later (I have now been sitting for more than 30 minutes in a smelly room), the manager comes in, and again is surprised that the room smells of cigarette. So now that two people have checked that I wasn’t lying, I am finally allowed to change room, but not before being asked if I had requested a non smoking room (bear in mind that the smelly room was non smoking, and if someone had smoked in it, the cleaners should have alerted someone and taken care of it before allowing a guest in). The manager takes me to my new room, friendly but not really apologetic room doesn’t smell, yeah! Problem sorted, happy me. I did get a nice hand written note and some cookies later on as a more formal apology, but saying I am totally unimpressed by the way the issue was handled is a misunderstanding.....

This hotel was so close to the harbor, the casino, and lots of shopping as well as the farmers market. We were able to eat street food and get coffee at the local market to save some money. It really checked a lot of boxes for us. The view was amazing and the staff was wonderful. I had made a mistake in booking our trip beginning the day after we arrived and they accommodated us a day early without a problem.

The moment you arrive at the Hermitage and you put a foot out of your cab – you know you have chosen well. The moment the bellboy receives your suitcase he calls you by name. A great hotel is the result of the interaction of a well trained staff and guests with culture. This grande dame de Monaco is a composition of a stunning, historic building with its aura of “time is standing still” and a gracious staff, complimented by a lovely perfume that fills the air in the floors. Thick carpets cover the beautiful marble floors and swallow every noise. I loved my room, facing the inner courtyard, silent, so that I can sleep in and doing my meditation in peace. I swear, this is the first hotel where I never heard a vacuum cleaner, and I have seen a lot of fantastic hotels. Nothing more annoying than being disturbed by a noisy cleaning procedure at 9 am. Beautiful breakfast room, delicious food, perfect service and I was pleased by the friendly and outstanding performance in the Crystal Bar. Les Thermes Marines are fantastic to recover, I loved it. Unfortunately I missed the chance to visit the Monte Carlo Beach, it was closed at this time of the year, but I will do it next year. Certainly I will return to the Hermitage, unfortunately I cannot move in forever. It's an exceptionel idea to spend your time.

Such a beautiful place to stay! I came with inVoyage for a business workshop and it's a magic hotel with such an impressive heritage! One of the best luxury hotels I know in Europe. A special thanks to Mme Marion at the reception, who spontaneously took the time to show us around.

Before the arrival i knew we would arrive with our three years old too early ( few hours before the check in time) so I have asked from guest relations to add an early check in request. Anastasia promptly replied and wrote she would do her best and truly upon our arrival the room was ready and we had amazing roses , balloon and a nice gift for our son. The hotel is magnificent with truly exceptional service. The best surprise was the amazing room service- they didn’t know word “no” to say. They did everything and at all times all with a smile. Housekeeping service was excellent too and the front desk as well. Bellboys we’re always helpful and wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit. The only and best place to stay at when in Monte Carlo

All I can say is WOW! This hotel is one of the finest in the world. The decor is magnificent and the location excellent. The staff is the most gracious we have ever experienced and were beyond helpful with any request we made. Each restaurant is outstanding. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Truly magical in our opinion.

A refined and beautiful hotel, with dreamy interiors filled with flowers and light beautiful decor. The staff are very polite and attentive, and the location is wonderful ( right next to casino ect) so it is in the heart of the action but one street back so more quiet, less tourists around than when staying at Hotel De Paris. So, only downfall. The building is huge and it may take you 15 mins to cross to get to the gym or to reception and back to your room. Apart from that, breakfast selection is vast and high quality ( the chocolate french toast is to die for ) , coffee is great and the terrace bar has a sensational view of the port. Its vibe is so airy and beautiful, reccomend to any one who really wants to be enthused by Monaco luxury and feel like they are in a movie. Also for those who want a prime location to all the local attractions. The rooms are also well stocked with luxury amenities, and they put us a nespresso machine on request which was great. A true gem of Monaco.
