We had been there in february and were happy at the first moment, but then deeply disappointed. The highlight was one morning - we had to leave early for the regatta -, when there was nobody at 7:30 to prepare breakfast. The lady at the reception told us - and some other guests - this is not her responsibility and fault, that the lady did`t arrive??!!?? Finally - with a bit pressure from the guests - she started to prepare it by herself. Here now some points: + good location + pizzeria inside hotel (it`s also the breakfast room) + pizzeria quite good - small room - loud - not really friendly stuff

This hotel was okay for a single nights stay. Location is central and close to the station (helpful if travelling with out a car). Not a bad view from the rooms facing the street but can be noisy in the evening.

this is the most failing hotel i`ve been to in my years of traveling, we booked a room with double twin beds, and it was literally so small i couldn't even move. the beds are so small i literally almost felt down from the bed like 3 times during the night. the shower is super tiny you can barely turn while showering. the wifi was slow as hell, barely moving. breakfast is a joke, no idea what are you paying for, like 1 type of yogurt and 2 types of ham and bread, and it never changes. the only good thing was its somewhat central location.. and the staff was also trying to help with stuff we needed, so cant take this away from them. but in conclusion would never ever go there again

The hotel was perfect for my needs. Staff made me feel welcome - thanks. Breakfast was functional and could be improved but no problem. Location is good but be aware of the minimum prices per journey demanded from Taxi Monaco drivers. It is not the hotel's fault - the staff were very efficient - but to go anywhere in Monaco costs 15 euro min. Not very visitor friendly - unlike the staff at the Ambassador. Merci

We travelled as a middle aged couple. For our sins we drove into Monaco, which is likely to be a huge mistake. Even though I'd researched the hotel location on Google streetview before arrival, I still could not work out how to unload at the hotel on arrival. Problem was that the hotel drop off was blocked by the hotel's own shuttle bus! Good planning that (sic) Parking was at a facility about 50 metres away, and about 10 levels down! (Only a little dizzy once I'd arrived) Once we managed to check in all went well. Hotel rooms are a little tired and in need of renovation. We had a balcony on the front of the hotel, thus had a very cool view. Bathroom was also in need of work, but did what it needed to do. Only irritation was the A/C. It blew warm air, but that was it. We asked for help, but nothing was done, and to be honest it was certain the hotel already knew it was non-functional. I would like to think they've fixed it by now, but suspect not. Breakfast was very poor. No choice, and the breakfast area was worryingly dirty and felt a bit like an old conservatory nailed on the side of the hotel. For what we paid, Monaco prices and all that, it was OK, but I'd not be in a rush to return here.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Just steps away from the Prince's Palace and walking distance from local eateries. The problem I have with Hotel was the Air Condition, there were no air in the room and the employees states the air has been turn off to facilitate the heat because winter was coming. Well, it was over 80 degree, because of this I got a bad flu.

Though Monaco is very opulent, this hotel is very basic. It is clean and very close to attractions and the key bus stops. The staff were very helpful. If you are content with spartan, no-frill rooms, this is a wise choice.

Stayed 4 nights in Room 24. Location was central so easy walking access to both harbours, the Rock, Monte Carlo, La Condamine and Fontvieille areas. Caught the 110 bus from Nice Airport and the Place D'Armes bus stop is very close to the hotel. Easy check in and very clean room. Breakfast suited us just fine. Cant understand why some reviews critical of this. Wifi was down for a couple of days but then worked fine. Large supermarket 2 minutes away - take the lift down from the RHS of the Piazza opposite the hotel entrance. Train station accessible via a close by tunnel about 500m long. The on-site pizzeria restaurant was first class. Good value, good food, excellent service thankyou. Monaco is a beautiful location. Busy in September but not overwhelmed with tourists. Very happy with our choice of hotel. The price seemed good value, especially for central Monaco. Would we use it again ? Yes, definitely.

We stayed for one night pre-cruise. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Ambassador. The staff were terrific and the room was clean and comfortable. Great location close to the harbor and convenient to restaurants. Excellent price for the value.

I visited Monaco for second time and I had a really great experience with this hotel. Staff are very friendly and professional.. Location is an A++ great price and very clean hotel I will definitely will recommend it..
