This was one of the cheaper hotels in Monaco but still was quite expensive for one night. The staff were very welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags prior to checking in - although they are keep in a corridor that is accessible to all guests! The rooms are very basic and, strangely, there aren't any spare plug sockets so we had to move the desk to reach the sockets for the TV. The wifi signal is also very weak and pretty much unusable. There wasn't much of a view, as it was looking out onto a brick wall. The bathroom was clean and quite large. Good location though as not far to walk into the centre.
Best value and location you'll ever find in Monaco. Super clean rooms and a great buffet breakfast, walk to everywhere, but taxi to casino. Walk to train station, Carrefour supermarket, princes car collection and the zoo, bus stop to la Rocher a few steps away, as is the fresh food market and adjoining restaurants. Open your window to hear the sounds of Monaco. No request was too great of staff, and I'll definitely stay again.
No wi-fi!!! No hot water in the shower!!! No parking, expensive and not nice stuff. Never again, So if you don't want to ruin your holidays - go another place in wonderful Monaco. Waste of time and money.
Small and clean hotel. Room and bathroom are large and comfortable. Breakfast average. Staff very friendly and polite. Hotel location is good, just a few minutes walk to Rue Princes Caroline. Good for short business stay.
Very comfortable room, great value for money given where it is and less than a 5-minute walk to Rue Princess Caroline where a coffee won't break the bank. Also the airport bus from Nice stops just around the corner.
I find this to be a good choice in Monaco. We had a fairly large suite with a very large room, two bathrooms and a jacuzzi. Royal. The location is very good. You have all the sightseeing in walking distance. And a parking garage in the next building, at a really good price. You do want to just leave the car stationary once you are in Monaco, and just walk around or taxi.
Stayed for a few nights here at the Ambassador during busy period in Monaco with limited accommodation availability. Small but very clean bedroom. Ok for one person. Bathroom equally small but effective. Breakfast average continental type in attached italian restaurant which seems to be separately run for lunch and dinner and seems to have a good range of pasta and pizza but wasn't in a position to try it this time around. Ok stay for a few nights on business.
I stayed in Room 11, which was on the small side but not cramped. As well as two single beds, it has a TV, desk, chair, closet, safe, ledge for a bag, and small fridge with minibar,. There are some power points located conveniently near the beds. The shower has excellent water pressure. The front desk was very helpful. There is a wonderful restaurant downstairs, where the pizza is very good indeed. The hotel is within a short walking distance of the Place du Palais and also within walking distance of the port. Don’t be worried about this hotel being one of the cheapest hotels in Monaco. This is Monaco, a country where nothing is rundown. It’s a perfectly decent hotel.
We decided to stop in Monaco for a couple days on our way thru France/Italy. The Hotel was pretty easy to find and the accommodations were pretty decent. The only reason I gave this a middle rating was the bed, if you can call it that. Horribly uncomfortable for myself and my other half. Reminded me of a far worse version of my dorm room bed back in college(read, springs, and no padding). Other than that, the breakfast was great...the coffee was to die for, and it was clean and orderly!
Love this hotel, and its situation, very friendly and comfortable and close to the station. It's really good if you're planning to do some rail travel, and it is quite close to the harbour too. It's not so near the casino, but a taxi or a bus will soon get you there. Comfortable rooms and a pleasant stay.
