The best thing to do is to stay at the Fairmont ... for more then a night. Thanks to the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff it has been easy and enjoyable ... just looking forward to be back! Thanks to all.
The location is breath taking and so are the views. In my opinion the hotel on the whole was way too hot, all the areas were over warmed. The staff very attentive. The rooms are classy but carpet is something from the past, the hotel would benefit from more modern flooring in the rooms. Breakfast is good but I was expecting a bit more from this type of hotel.
I had high expectations of the Fairmont Monte Carlo, I was not disappointed, I really love this Hotel Resort, its the place to be in Monte Carlo, as the Regional Vice President of Fairmont Hotels Group said, "Its the place to be" yes it certainly is, from the time my wife and I arrived, the red carpet was rolled out for us, the outside assistants immediately took our baggage and said it would be taken to our room, it was, we were quickly checked into our Riviera Suite 6076 and 6078, 2 doors, 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms, a spacious luxurious lounge with a sumptuous bedroom, again, no disappointments, they say anything that money can buy, Monaco does rather well, the Fairmont brand does not let you down, the management team, including the Senior Director of the Hotel should be congratulated, his or her staff were superb, beautiful bathrooms with exquisite toiletries, superior sleep quality, bath robes, slippers, excellent view of the Riviera, Nespresso machine fully stocked mini bar as required. I would recommend the Riviera Suite, the Lounge is your home from home, actually i think the suite is bigger than our apartment, but seriously, its so comfortable, service is the key here, breakfast is taken on the 7th floor everything you could wish for, omelette and egg station, cold cuts, breads, cheeses, cereals, cakes, sweet treats, perfect orange juice, different warm option as well, a superb breakfast offered with our Riviera suite, the concierge helped us in the morning regarding onward travel arrangements by Train, speaking to the Italian and SNCF rail service as there was a problem on the lines, also gave us advice on local travel. I rather liked the complimentary champagne in the room with Fairmont chocolates on arrival, that was a superb nice touch, very much appreciated, and Fairmont chocolates on departure for my birthday, also, on arrival they seem to know who were were, ? not sure how they knew. All in all, a fantastic stay at the Fairmont, book with confidence, and watch the Fairmont service unravel before your eyes, thank you very much for a superb stay.
It is unfortunate that the hotel had not posted on its website that MAJOR land expansion development is currently happening right on the sea front outside the hotel. What was meant to be an absolute treat and a once in a life time "spoil" to visit the glamorous and glitzy Monaco for my wife and I traveling from South Africa, turned out to be the most disappointing part of our 4 week European trip. Travelers need to take note that on information given to us this development will probably last another 10 years as the Pricncipality has decided to reclaim more land from the sea and contruction of this new area severely effects this hotel as the ships used to work the sea bed are right outside the sea view rooms and make a consistant noise well into the early hours of the morning. Unfortunetly most sea view rooms now look right into these ships. The issue with the leaking hotel roof and terrible smell in the hotel corridor leading to our room was appologised for by hotel manegement and a kind credit of our mini bar tab was given for the inconvenience.
From the minute my son and I walked into the lobby we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff . Our room was beautiful and spacious and the hotel restraunts were very good and my favorite restaurant is Nobu so it was great that there is one there . The location of the hotel is perfect for all that Monaco has to offer and I definitely would recommend the hotel and be back .
Love this hotel offers both modern and classic charm, staff is great views are great and the service is great. I’ve been coming here for two years now every other month and always am impressed. Proud to be a platinum member of fairmont!! As always thanks fairmont!!
Great location and good rooms with large sea-side balcony. Standard to slow service. Meals overpriced. Not at par with top range Accor brands like Sofitel or McGallery. No membership benefits not even a welcome drink...
Nice hotel in the heart of Monte Carlo and famous F1 view is great place where to stay during your Monaco trip. Rooms are quite big with sea or city view and balcony. The best in the hotel is 24 hours lobby bar - all people meet here during the whole day / night. Very social atmosphere and nice talkative bartenders. I always enjoy the bar :) The staff in hotel is different cup of tea, very arrogant and suspicious. Above all the staff on the roof top bar with pool - Nikki beach.
Spent 4 nights at this hotel and was impressed with the level of service provided by staff. Staff were engaging from check-in to checkout and really made me stay as comfortable as possible. While I was here mainly due to business the location of the hotel allowed me to visit all the landmarks, as all the major attractions are within walking distance. Would highly recommend for the business and leisure traveler
I have been in this hotel several times before and always enjoyed my stay very much, excellent location, great sea view, pleasurable breakfast, quiet, very helpful stuff. i would gladly come back on my next visit.
