We booked in they took 50euros per night from my credit card, 150 Why? We were out each night and the bar shut at 10pm so we couldn't spend anything. The noisy refurb didn't worry us because we were out all day, it needed doing. You could tell it's popular with the F1 drivers by the way they take the racing lines and wear the carpets out. LOL. It's in a good position and a short walk to the harbour where there are bars and restaurants, and close to the bus stop and 10 min walk into the town. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here but it took me 2 weeks and an email to get my deposit refunded.

Staff are great, hotel is well priced . We stayed in deluxe room, and view was great. Breakfast has many choices well catered for everyone. Only downside for us was the noise due to renovation work, but we are out most of the day, so it doesn’t bother us too much

NOT possible to stay there between 9am and 6pm. The drilling noise is unbearable. In every room (according to the reception, I tried only two rooms in different floors & areas) Be carefull! My ears still hurt. The renovation should be finished in May but not sure if it will be finished on time. The hotel is used / old (mattress, bathroom, furnitare) but if you don't mind that and you are not in the room during the day its okay", it's monaco and the price is okay.

Travelled with 3 girlfriends in Mid September 2017 for a 50th Birthday Great helpful friendly staff. We had 2 twin bedded rooms, which had part sea - part garden views, next door to each other. Nice comfortable rooms, with balcony. TV , minibar, safe, Very good breakfast, Pool in grounds, also used by local residence .. Bus stop just around corner to take you into main area. Can walk just around the local marina to a choice of a few places to eat and get a drink. We mainly got taxis into Monte Carlo Casino area and walked from this point. We enjoyed our stay here, but as a little out the way we would stay at the Fairmont, as a much better position and facilities Try the Buddha Bar, and Fairmount hotel for bars.

We chose the Columbus for a three night stay whilst visiting Monaco. The hotel is in a great location and offers comfortable accommodation with a warm welcome. There are parts of the hotel that look a little shabby and well worn but as the Hotel is currently going through a total refurb all these issues will no doubt be addressed in time. The breakfast offered something for everyone, ( I’m a coeliac, and had no problem dining, as allergies were catered for too) There was a choice of evening dining options as the Hotel is located close to a small marina that is lined with restaurants offering a variety of menus. The hotel offers a shuttle service to more central points if you choose not to walk. How ever we explored on foot daily and found nothing to be too difficult to reach. Our only comment on the hotel would be that it lacked a central visible bar / lounge area. It was more like a reception area. Maybe this will change after the refit? A fantastic break .....we cant wait to return and would recommend the Columbus to all.

Staff were super helpful, location is perfect, breakfast was great. The pool area is a great place to chill out, take mosquito spray as there is still a few about even this late in the season. Yes the hotel is undergoing a refit but the finished areas look great.

On arrival we were met by the concierge staff, they were warm and welcoming, they took our bags and introduced us to the reception staff. We were given an upgrade to a suite without asking! The lounge area is very chilled with background music to suit the pleasant surroundings! The location is great, it's a very nice short walk into Monaco and feels very safe even at night!

I stayed at the Columbus Monte-Carlo for one night and it was absolutely charming. The hotel is located on the marina with a great sea view and a close to bars and restaurants. It’s an easy walk to the old city and the casino although it is a bit further away. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to this beautiful part of the world.

I stayed at the hotel for one night - although I was in a standard room, I felt it was very large and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view and the balcony made it feel pretty special too. The hotel does not have a bar which could be a draw back for some. The breakfast was enjoyable and could be taken on the outside terrace which is extremely pleasant when the weather is good.

Just loved the experience.......had a great time by the pool and service as well as food was simply great.............can only recommend the place for anyone looking for quality for money in a place where bling reigns.....
