Cute, but sketchy neighbourhood.

Well.. the villa itself was cute, the grounds were well taken care of. Sarah the housekeeper was so helpful and did an a great job of looking after us. However, it started with us not having a ride from the airport, apparently he went to Mombasa instead of Diana airport, then we were shown a two bedroom and we paid for a 3. Then we had to wait to get them in to clean that one. As well arrived, the neighbour was a bit sketchy. Which made us feel like we couldn’t walk to the beach on our own and that we should get a ride at all time. Kim, couldn’t really give us suggestions of what to do or where to eat. We had a difficult time getting him to respond to our what’s up. Our place seemed to be an open door for him, as he came and went from our place with out asking first. The chef, offered to make us meals but we needed to do the shopping, which we were told that they do the shopping. So we opted to make our own meals. We were told the power never goes off and it went off often and one of us has a C-Papp machine. So that was not good. However once we got the lay of the land about Diani beach. We loved it there. We would just stay somewhere closer to the beach.
