We love this hotel, room, service, food was super!
It will not disappoint. This hotel has breathtaking views and an amazing staff. The restaurant has amazing food and service.
Hotel is great. Recommend dining on the terrace, most beautiful location and excellent food .
This hotel surpassed all our expectations. The building combined the beauty of Italian palazzos of the past centuries and the elegance and style of modern architecture. It is situated right at the lake. The staff was attentive and friendly. Food was excellent light Italian cuisine.
This hotel was fabulous. Great view from the room, friendly and helpful staff, beds comfy, pool great. And of course, to be in Lake Como is to love Lake Como. I would highly recommend. Stunning.
Large rooms but no view. Extra 20 Euro for parking quite steep when room rate already high (some free parks on street nearby). Great breakfast and selection (checks it's included in booking). Freezing cold pool, shame it wasn't even slightly heated.
A convenient choice of a hotel to explore the region.
Wonderful location, one of the best hotels in the area. Could not have chosen better.
We stayed at this hotel the first time we visted Como and were not disappointed. The location is great -- 5 minutes out of town from the main city, a ferry stop right outside, and several restaurants across the street. It's on the same street as George Clooney's house (but in the next town over). A+ service, great room, great building. The one negative is that the restaurant and amenities are expensive. For instance the breakfast buffet is 20 euro per person. If you are willing to pay, the amenities are high quality at least.
I think we had our hopes up, because of the beautiful picture of the hotel. But without good weather, we found that this hotel, while perfectly acceptable, was not a special hotel. I believe it was good value.
It is 15 kilometers away form Como. Kocatepe in montrasio. Pier in near the hotel
Very "rustic", certainly not a modern hotel... the staff was friendly, the room was clean and the food was great. We hit this hotel right after peak tourist season so it felt a little empty - which is not bad.
The room we booked was supposed to have a balcony and it didn't- so we were told for another 25 Euros we could upgrade to a room with a balcony - and we did... meaning we were no longer in the old Italian quaint part of the hotel, but rather in the Modern/Trendy part of the hotel... this wasn't as romantic since you practically share a balcony with your neighbor. Moltrasio is not a happening city as they make it seem ... there are 7 restaurants within walking distance - 3 at the hotel and 3 at the neigboring hotel and one beach bar with inconsistent hours, but great food. There is little to no nightlife. The staff wasn't well versed in English, so if you don't speak Italian, don't stay here - they also get very aggrivated when you don't speak the language. For the price of this hotel - stay in Como or Cernobio... they're much livlier and friendlier than this small town. The hotel also doesn't have a look to it like the pictures on their website - on the website it looks very pristine and established. I think this has been photoshopped to remove graffiti and the other buildings which block this "view" from the lake. We had constant problems with the TV and the power went out 3 times during our stay.
The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. the hotel is lovely. Beautiful setting right on Lake Como.
