Red-painted nice cottage with lush garden. To Hössjö lake it is only a few hundred meters and there you can try your luck at fishing. The cottage has a fully equipped bright kitchen, cozy living room with wood burning stove and TV. Glazed conservatory for cozy evenings and bathroom with shower and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms and living room with TV. The cottage is equipped with internet / WiFi. In warm weather, it is nice to sit on the north terrace and listen to the rippling stream. The surroundings invite to lovely walks in beautiful forest for berry and mushroom picking. It is about 3.6 km to the municipal bath in Tolestorp with jetties in Sörsjön and to Moheda, which has bus connections with Alvesta-Växjö, it is 3 km. There is a grocery store, health center with pharmacy, restaurant, cafe and half a dozen other shops. Hembygdsgården and the School Museum are definitely worth a visit, as is the beautiful medieval church. In and around Moheda there is a cluster of Antique and Flea Shops that are open on Sundays. Between Moheda and Alvesta is the Mecca Kronobergshed of gliders, where you are sometimes offered a "try-on-flight trip." Alvesta Golf Course is right next door and there is also a restaurant. Alvesta is the municipality's central town and is a significant railway junction that has a train connection with both Stockholm-Malmö / Copenhagen and Gothenburg-Kalmar. In the upper floor of the station building, you usually have exhibitions with different themes in the summer. Alvesta has a bank and Systembolag. For those who want to exercise physical activity, Hanaslövsbacken is available all year round, winter time for skiing on artificial snow and summer time for mountain biking. The regional capital of Växjö, Europe's greenest city, is 30 km away. Here are good chances to shop at good prices. Take an excursion to Glasriket in Kosta (approx. 70 km) with its world-famous glass artists and glass art. There is also a popular Outlet where you can find glass, art, clothes etc. In Grönåsens Älg & lantdjurspark in Kosta there is a moose safari that you should not miss. In Ljungby, 55 km west, there is the Sago Museum, the Minivärlden with model railway and the Ljungberg Museum. Welcome to a wonderful holiday stay!
