Playa del Cura is the best place in South of GC

The best thing is the location. The complex is situated right on the waterfront of Playa del Cura with views across Cura and Tauro beaches and towards Amadores beach (the resort but not the sandy beach itself), and open ocean - stunning! The complex received an outer makeover and will be undergoing some modernisation (note the outer part is now white, not orange-red). Our apartment 4010 had an amazing view and felt spacious, but it was showing signs of wear and tear. Stains on the sofa, yellow stains in the shower corner, tired furniture and door frames, old hard mattresses, different heights of single beds in the bedroom. The balcony is long but very narrow, which is massive shame in the climate of Gran Canaria. The apartment would definitely benefit from updating. The complex has two unheated pools that get warmed by the sun and cooled overnight. The pool area and water were great. Very quiet and good size for swimming. Sunbeds were comfy and well spaced. Never a problem to find a space at any time. The resort Playa del Cura is the best part. Not spoiled as PuertoRico or Amadores, rarely busy and has open ocean views. No icky restaurants on the waterfront, but several very good ones with sea view in the shopping complex few steps from the beach. Easy to park along the main road in November. Easy commute to other resorts and well connected by frequent bus service in both directions. All in all - top find for value apartment on beachfront anywhere on Gran Canaria.

Hatte mehr erwartet!

Die KĂŒchenschrĂ€nke fallen auseinander. Die Couch ist dreckig und kaputt. Die Einzelbetten sind unbequem und sehr klein. Das schlimmste ist: DIE HANDTÜCHER WERDEN NUR 3X IN DER WOCHE GEWECHSELT. Zimmerreinigung gibt es auch nur paar mal die Woche. Als ich das Hotel ĂŒber diese Buchungsseite gebucht habe, gab es diese Information bzgl. der HandtĂŒcher und Zimmerreinigung nicht. Es stand sogar bei der Beschreibung - tĂ€gliche Zimmerreinigung, was aber nicht stimmt. Außerdem gibt es viel Ungeziefer im Zimmer. Es gibt keinen Spielplatz, was aber so auf Hotels.com aufgelistet ist.

Viihdyimme Vistaflor Cura Marinassa monta vuotta sitten, ja tuon kokemuksen perusteella palasimme. Hotellin sijainti on loistava, suoraan meren rannalla. Henkilökunta on ystÀvÀllistÀ ja koko alue rauhallinen. LÀhistöllÀ on pieni ostoskeskus, muutama ruokapaikka ja yksi supermarket (meille riittÀvÀsti!). Hotelli oli kuitenkin hieman kulunut, tai remontti oli tehty huolimattomasti. Eteisen seinÀstÀ tipahteli laastia lattialle, kylpyhuoneen ovea ei saanut avattua/suljettua kuin voimalla (ovi oli kiinni lattiassa). Toinen patja oli kulunut ja kuopalla. Kattila ja paistinpannu olivat kuluneet kÀyttökelvottomiksi (onneksi emme vÀlttÀmÀttÀ tarvinneet). Jos nuo asiat korjataan, hotellista tulisi tÀydellinen! Pidimme myös siitÀ, ettÀ hotellissa ei ollut iltaohjelmaa, vaan voimme kuunnella meren ÀÀntÀ.

FrÀscha lÀgenheter med perfekt lÀge nÀra bÄde stranden och centrum i den lilla byn. Mycket praktiskt med separat AC i sovrummet och vardagsrummet. Stor och bekvÀm bÀddsoffa i vardagsrummet. HÀrlig utsikt över havet frÄn balkongen. Bra gratis wi-fi överallt. Helt ny kyl med frys som inte lÀt nÄgot. Enda nackdelen var att poolen var vÀldigt kall. Gott om plats runt poolen med massor av solstolar. Hit Äterkommer vi gÀrna!
