As location, its close to the tile industry. New refurbished at rooms and clean rooms. Decoration and textiles for bedrooms better than Leon Doro Hotel (next door) However, beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. I come Sassalo every year. Next year i wont stay due to the low bedding quality. Cos after all day long business, could not rest properly.
This is a nice hotel for business or leisure travel. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a great variety of choices and staff are very attentive. The front desk clerks were more than accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
I've stayed in Hotel Michelangelo from April 1 untill April 5 2016. People at the reception were very nice, as is to expected from people in this line of work. Not much information was given (apart from the room number and which time Breakfast would take place), I had to ask if I wanted to know things. For me that's not a problem, but I can see some improvement there, to be a bit more interactive. Rooms were good, clean, bed slept well. Some things were broken (tile, curtains) and the overall appearence was a bit dated. Nice size bathroom, shower could be a little big bigger, since I'm not that big and I can imagine a big fellow will have some problem moving around in there. Minibar was present and filled. For Italian standards, breadfast was simple but quite extensive. I also liked the time (from 07.00 - 10.00), so you can sleep in a bit. Very close to the hotel there is a very large Supermarket (about 3 minutes walk) and if you walk about 10 minutes further, there is also a small shopping mall, called Panorama. To the center of Sassuolo, it's about a mile (1,3 km). Bikes you can rent for free from the hotel. You are staying in an industrial area, so don't expect nice views. The road where the hotel is situated, is a very busy one, althoug you don't hear much in the rooms with the windows closed. In front of the hotel there is a very nice, large area where you can enjoy the outside, and there is a smoking area. There is also a restaurant, but I have not eaten there, so I can't say much about that. All in all a very nice stay and I would recommend this to anyone who has a short stay in or around Sassuolo.
The room is clear but the furnitures are old. Although the hotel located in the center it is quiet. The stuff is helpful and kind. Wifi is available. The breakfast is poor and boring after two days. There are no vegetables. The hotel has free parking service.
One thing you cannot stay without is good food , good hospitality and company when you are away from your family . This hotel shall make you feel home ..All the staff including the special one Rocco always greet you and Make you feel comfortable during the stay .. They all speak English very well.... The restraunts serves good food . I usually used to ask a little spicy food and the chef would suggest me different kind of dishes.. he also took me to the kitchen and asked if he needed to add some more spice in the pasta... I would say this hotel is worth for its service. The morning breakfast is also good .. lots of fresh fruits , corn flakes , eggs , in case you need a omlet you can ask for one and they shall serve you hot...The rooms is kept tidy every day...Bathrooms are a little smaller of size but all the basic needs are already taken care... I would recommend this hotel to all ...
I stay there 2 nights and I like it. It is not located in a central area, but price is affordable, they have a good restaurant and the atendants gave me support even for a very earl breakfast. By the way, the breakfast is tastefull with good variety.
I visited sassuolo for a business meeting and it was my first visit to sassuolo Italy. I stayed in Michelangelo Hotel and really had a great and memorable experience of staying there. The rooms were furnished and maintained. The meal was also tasty. The room service staff was also dressed up properly and was very polite with the us.
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but i immagine it has 4 star because has frigobar, room are big enough, and common area are fine. But it is not so nice in decoration, it is clean enough, matress are too soft. Staff is very polite, however, we were late for breakfast and they offer us something form the bar. Fair enough if you pass by for business, or you just need to sleep once.
In the area of Modena - Sassuolo, I consider this hotel one of the best, very good value for money, good breakfast, good rooms with very modern bathrooms, free wifi. It is a pity that the restaurant is (as normally many restaurant in hotels in Italy) it is not very used, consequently the choice is quite limited, because the food was quite good and the service accurate. The staff is very friendly and attending. Unfortunately Sassuolo is in fact just a bunch of factories: this hotel would deserve a better location!
May be not the best hotel in town but certainly good valued for money with a convenient location and the most very helpful staff. Quite good breakfast selection and feee internet via wifi.
