Central Park Hotel Modena4.0 out of 5.0

I have stayed at this property number of times due to the limitation of options. Rooms are dark and congested. It is difficult to sleep at night in your room if your neighbour is watching TV at normal sound level. Only good thing about this hotel is that it is in city centre or walking distance from it and other happening places in the city.
We have our sister Company in Modena. They reserved for us to Central Park Hotel. It was very modern in Business concept, silence and good breakfast and center area. I reached also to some places very easily.
Stayed here for my daughter's football tournament and had a lovely time. Staff friendly ,rooms spotless clean. Located near town square for all shops and restaurants. Only downside was breakfast it was a bit of a disappointment but didn't ruin the holiday
we struggled finding a nice place in Modena for our stay over Christmas, most hotels were closed. As it was a long stay we were hoping for a good hotel. And were really surprised to find this was actually a good hotel indeed. Parking is tricky as it is very central and there's not always parking space available in the area. There is a possibility to leave the car with the hotel staff giving them the key so they park it in an inside parking space which is very small, but it is nice they offer it. Reception staff was always correct and friendly. The room was good, comfortable, warm, you could open the window. It was not noisy and the sleeping comfort good. There was a spacious bathroom with plenty of simple toiletries but also slippers. There was a minibar which was well filled. Housekeeping was very good and kept coming even if we left the room late. They even worked on Christmas day and we were very grateful; as we had the flu it was lovely to have our sheets changed on Christmas day. Breakfast was very nice, it was downstairs. Staff was very friendly. There were a lot of options for Italian breakfast, all types of biscuits and cake, yoghurt and juices. Not good for who likes a savoury breakfast, but all the sweet things were homemade and really nice. There was fresh fruit and all sorts and they made a nice coffee for you. All in all we were very happy to have discovered this hotel and have already booked our next stay here.
This hotel is located close to the center of Modena. The dome is within a 5-10 min walk. Just a few parking spaces @ hotel but never any problems to find parking space on the street. Nice and welcoming staff. Room are ok standard and clean but some of the single rooms are very small - more like a closet. As in most hotels in Italy, the beds are firm/hard. Breakfast is Italian with loads of cakes/pastries. Forget egg & bacon. Wifi is average, tending to slow
The room was comfortable, clean, with good bathroom. We liked the design! The staff is excellent, the breakfest room is very pleasent. Parking facilities are very good! In front of the Museum quarter, and nice walk to the city center.
When I chose this hotel, I had no idea it was just across the road from the Galleria Estense, with its wonderful collection of paintings and artefacts, but we were certainly delighted to find that this was so. The historic centre of the city, with its wonderful Romanesque cathedral, Torre Ghirlandina and Piazza Grande, is within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, there was plenty of space in bedroom and bathroom, the air conditioning was very effective, and breakfast was delicious.
Nicely located in walking distance to downtown and offering free parking. Large room, large bed with good quality mattress, and very large bathroom with window. Staff at reception and breakfast was very friendly. A plus: we are staying at many hotels every year but hardly ever had the bathroom cleaned so thoroughly each day - wow!!! But: 1. Strange to have to call reception when wanting to adjust AC - one just doesn't do this at 3 am. 2. Breakfast wants to offer variety but offers always the budget solution of it, juice, bread, ham & cheese; less but fresh would be better. One gets the feeling the hotel struggles a bit and where they try to save money makes this so obvious... Overall: because of the large and very tidy room a safe choice. We would book again if returning to Modena.
Nice hotel well located and very nice staff. The rooms are ok very functional for a business trip. What I disliked is that they were understaffed and needed to wait for ordering a beer or a coffee. The breakfast was poor in its offering and could be really improved. Overall it is a nice place, clean, pleasent. So for 120Eur I expected a notch extra at least for the breakfast. Would I stay there again ? yes no hesitation
This hotel was very good for our 2 night stay on business. The hotel is in a great location but the staff were what made it an enjoyable and easy stay. All of the staff we spoke to or needed at reception were polite, friendly and helpful. They helped us print tickets, recomended restaurants, booked plenty of taxi's to our meetings and overall made sure we had everything we needed. The morning waiter in the breakfast room downstairs was amazing. He had a beaming smile everyday. The rooms are good but not amazing. I'm used to having tea and coffee facilities and sometimes some free water available so it was disappointing not to have that. Overall though, the beds were comfy and there wasn't a lot of noise from outside or inside the hotel. A short walk to the centre of Modena, I would say this hotel is perfectly positioned for the restaurants and bars while also not being in a busy street too close.
