Be aware that the hotel is under construction

Good location and very pleasant stuff. The young guy at the reception desk was very helpful and pleasant, as was the lady that takes care of breakfast at the hotel dining room. Be aware that the hotel IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Hotels.com should let customers be aware of the hotel situation so that they may decide if they want to stay in the hotel under those circumstances. After discussing the situation with the receptionist, and letting him know that we reserved a room with a balcony which was not available due to the construction going on, and letting him know that we were disappointed about the luck of transparency about the construction, he kindly let us stay at another close by hotel. He was very helpful and professional handling the situation.

Como é possível em pleno século XXI e com as novas tecnologias e chegar ao hotel com a minha família depois de ter feito a reserva ter pago e dar tudo OK e chegar lá e dizer que não tem disponibilidade , uma autêntica anedota , na recepção pelo que deu entender já deve ser normal , além do meu caso estavam a falar de outro. Conseguiram me hospedar em outro hotel, claro que era o mínimo que podem fazer mas longe da cidade em que eu decidi ficar, claro que as despesas de deslocação ninguém mas vai pagar.
