Relaxing Stay

My family enjoyed our stay at this Tivoli Terrance Townhouse. The home is as described - the kitchen had everything we needed! The one item that impressed me was the getting started package from My Vacation Haven - there was a box of products for each bathroom and kitchen and contained everything you needed to get started on your vacation. The pool area is great and located a short walk from the townhouse. The beach was a bit further than I expected, there is a tram but also a parking area if you wanted to drive yourself so not an issue. The mini golf, pickleball court and basketball courts are also close by too. We spent a great deal of time on the patio! The townhouse is located near a main drive but the landscaping around the patio made it seem like you had your own private space. We were on vacation during spring break and there were a lot of people at the resort, however this townhouse is on a gated street so not much traffic once you are there.

No golf cart provided, unlike the neighboring rentals. I was told golf carts were not allowed on the resort, this was far from true. The code to get in the home was provided via text link. However, the secure gate code and pool codes were not provided. Even though we followed the instructions to find the codes in the app, we could not find them. We had groceries waiting at the gate, and we could not immediately get the gate code. Thank goodness for very nice community members, whom shared the gate and pool code. No welcome package, we had to figure everything out ourselves. If a map could have been provided for the resort, it would have been better than nothing. Much instruction(s) on how to treat the home was available on doors and the refrigerator, but nothing much to get you started on enjoying your vacation. Everything we asked was via message through the VRBO app, and super slow responses. A few of the windows were hard to see out of due to messed up screens. We were hoping to watch golfers, but the view was hidden by bad screens or palm trees. A garage would have been nice to have, like the sty he’d rentals had. On a positive note, kitchen accessories were in abundance: silverware, dishes, pots/pans, bowls, coffee makers, blender, toasters, and cooking utensils. Additionally, tents, umbrellas, beach chairs and toys were available. If communications could improve, as well as a more user friendly app., we would consider staying at the property again.
