Had a wonderful time. Location was perfect. Rented a golfcart and was able to get around well on Scenic 98. Pool was a bit crowded and small for the size of the complex.

Beautiful, but.....

On the day we arrived, we walked into the bathroom and there were skid marks all over the toilet. The unit was otherwise clean so I didn't feel the need to contact the agency. We packed light and did laundry daily. If you plan on doing laundry, be prepared for it to take a LONG time to dry; We're talking 3 hours for 4-5 towels. The unit is updated and beautifully decorated, but the person that hung the TVs and pictures was either drunk or doesn't know how to use a level. That wasn't a big deal, but bugged my OCD. Compass resorts was who we rented through and said that units at the Majestic Sun included beach service, but this is not the case. Be prepared to shell out another $250/week for that. There are 4 beach chairs, beach wagon, two small beach umbrellas and some small beach toys/umbrella holders available for use in the unit. We have stayed at the Majestic Sun many times in different units. Majestic sun is conveniently located to lots of food, grocery stores, and necessities with beautiful views and nice facilities. It's nice to be able to walk to the Whale's Tale and sit on the deck for dinner on the beach. It does never fail that Majestic Sun has at least 1 of 3 elevators down at every visit, but hasn't stopped us from returning.

Great condo but lousy communication

Check in never worked through the link provided. We had the call the Compass offices three times and wait on hold approximately 30 minutes before they texted us the check in codes. When we arrived one of the beds was broken and again we had to wait on hold more than 15 min to reach the office to report it. Compass communicates with guests through texts but does not respond if you reply by text. I know it was a very busy weekend for Compass but overall disappointing

Fantastic Getaway!

This property was exactly as the pictures appeared. We had an excellent experience with the location of the beach just a short walk across the road. We didn't use the pool area much but it was clean and well maintained. The fitness room was adequate for some exercise to kick start the morning. The view of the beach from the balcony was gorgeous and allowed for some sun time throughout the day as well. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for making our trip memorable.

Great location and view

The view was the best thing about this girls getaway. Granted the beach was a tad too cold for us since it was mid Nov but the view from this property gave us that tranquility we needed for a moms getaway. Location was great to get to all the surrounding areas. The unit was exactly as it shows in the photos and the kitchen was more stocked than most rentals. Would recommend to anyone.

Compass resorts

2nd time staying at this property. Great condo. Had a bad experience with Compass Resort. Less than 24 hours from check in they want to do maintenance of property and interrupt my stay for a regular air filter replacement. This should be done before I checked in or after this was not an emergency and interruption of my stay. I called compass and a very rude women told me they can do whatever they want and it’s part of the agreement. She should not be working with customers and is a bad representation of compass resorts I think she was Laurie or something with an H. Cameron did call later on and apologize and was very understanding and knows how to talk to people and treat people. So Cameron gets 5 stars and is great representation of Compass she gets lower than 0 ,. Thank you Cameron and please keep people like that . However that women should not be working with customers and is a bad reputation for compass and is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with and shocked someone like that is working for this company. Thank you again Cameron for making things right from the bad apples. If it wasn’t for Cameron I would of never ever booked with compass again.

Fantastic stay!

We loved this condo. There were plenty of supplies to get us started and the kitchen was well stocked (probably could have used a toaster). Everything was clean and we had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Great location right across from the gulf. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony and left the screen door open at night to hear the waves while we were hanging out in the comfy living area. Noticed they had games and DVD players but we were so busy we never used those. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Nice condo

The condo was clean. We were pretty far from the parking garage, so the luggage carts are very helpful. There was never parking near the entry. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad, bud the rental umbrellas and chairs taking up all the beachfront space wasn’t great. We brought our own shade. I had reached out about amenities, but never heard back. The description of having nothing in the condo is very accurate… we had to go back to the grocery for salt. Overall it’s a nice place. Probably wouldn’t stay again, but only because it’s more crowded than other places we’ve stayed. The road between the resort and beach had a steady flow of traffic from sun up to well past sundown, but occasionally provided entertainment from the balcony.
