The house is absolutely wonderful for large families and has the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The floors were very dirty and you could not walk around barefoot unless you wanted black feet. Excellent showers and water pressure, as well as a large selection of cookware. Very nice resort with so much to offer - heated pools, easy access to groceries, food, Baytowne Warf Village - IF you have your own vehicle. Easy to access via golf cart. Largest complaints were the limited access to golf cart usage (due to the carts being old and not maintenenced well). Spent 4-5 days in communication with My Vacation Haven because of the golf carts not working. We were told we would get some kind of compensation, but have no received anything or heard anything further. The listing states there are 2 golf carts. The black one didn't work at all our entire stay (7 days). It was picked up by a 3rd party company on the 4th day. The white golf cart (literally the oldest we saw throughout the entire property) wouldn't charge and we couldn't use it for 24 hours. Overall, while the house was nice, we wouldn't stay here again because we spent so much time in communication with My Vacation Haven, or dealing with maintenence to have access to the amenities promised in the listing. Very frustrating because we had a party of 9 that had to share a single 4 seater golf cart and wouldnt even got over 17 MPH. Had to contact MVH to request the grill be cleaned as it was not maintained.
