We loved staying at Baytowne Wharf. The condo was better than the pictures and was in a perfect location. Close to all the restaurants and activities. The pool was nearby, and the Tram to the beach was nice. We hope to stay here again.

Great location, right in the middle of all the action. Two spacious bedrooms and a comfortable living area, plus a view of the Baytowne stage. Things quieted down around 10 PM each night, and the rooms themselves were nice and peaceful. We really enjoyed the free trolley and golf passes. Overall, a great stay — We'd definitely come back.

Quick Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our family trip. The beach is just a quick ride away and dining/entertainment steps away. We were able to watch the Pirate Night show and enjoy movie night all from our incredibly spacious balcony. We will definitely be booking this property in the future, but will bring a noise machine for the bedrooms since Rum Runners stays open later on the weekends.

The Place To Be!!!

Best balcony to view fireworks! Wonderful condo! Only drawback was parking on busy nights. We had a code to get to private parking but the private parking was not so private. Many cars did not have the parking pass in their vehicle so it caused people that did have the pass to go without. I think people might have shared codes with friends that were not suppose to park. I walked through one part of parking……4 out of 10 cars did not have a pass. If they would monitor the parking more closely it would make it so much better. No pass no park. Other than that the condo was excellent. Pool was terrific! Lots of food and fun in the village area. Great places to walk. Excellent workout room! Such a fun and wonderful place to stay! We will be back!

Loved this place

Great location, but some minuses

The unit was cute and the location was great. However, there were some real drawbacks. There were no loungers on the enormous deck. Even a plastic Adirondack chair to lounge in the sun would’ve been welcome. The beds were extremely hard and neither of us got much sleep. The floors were filthy, turning my feet black in about five minutes. There was tile missing in the main bathroom right where you step into the shower, a safety hazard. There was a bulb out in the main bathroom where a bulb base had broken off in the fixture that had been left that way. The paint is dark in there, so if you’re doing makeup or shaving, you need ALL the lights to work. While we loved the location, we would not stay in this unit again.

A Quick Getaway

Mixed feelings

I want to start by saying that the location and convenience of being on the second floor was great. We booked this room mainly for location and the layout. Balcony is a large size and right in the center of baytowne. We expected it would be loud most nights so we brought a sound machine and that helped a lot. Immediately upon arrival I tried to start the oven bc my kids were starving from the drive. The oven would not work so I called and received a rapid response. It was after 5 so we had to wait until the next day to get it fixed. This was an inconvenience but not a huge deal bc we understand things happen. Thsn I started noticing more as we stayed. We decided just to deal with it bc we wanted to enjoy our trip. There were little bugs all in the kitchen. I found mold in the shower and the washing machine. The floors were filthy and the bedding was extremely old and had holes all in it. One of the showers was also missing multiples tiles right as you stepped in, which I did not know and scratched myself in entering. We expected more for the price we paid to stay here, but we still enjoyed the vacation. It seemed to me that the condo may be vacant a lot and not taken care of.

Nice place and location.

Stayed here with splice and 3 children. We really enjoyed our stay. Only a few complaints 1st the bed in the master has a topper on it that does not fit so feels more like sleeping on a queen. 2nd the TV’s are smart TV’s but you can not use the smart feature as they are not connected to the internet and we were not able to connect due to needing admin privileges and also Annette is using a VPN so unable to connect to log into streaming services. 3rd the cookware is very cheap and old so unable to do much cooking as everything burned and stuck to cookware. Other than that our stay was great perfect location and clean home.

Great condo, huge patio!

We loved this condo! The enormous patio and gorgeous view right in the middle of the village was a huge plus! We loved the location! The only downside is that since you are right in the middle of the village, you may still be listening to music as you go to sleep depending on the day. There are a few minor issues in this condo that could easily be fixed making this place perfect: —The ceiling fan in the master bedroom is very noisy, needs to be fixed. —The master bed is listed as a king and I think the actual bed is a king but I think it has a queen size mattress topper on it so it seems smaller. Still super comfy. —nice couch in the living room, but if you replaced it with a big comfy sectional, there would be more seating. As it was our kids piled on top of us on the couch which was really only suitable for 3 but nobody wanted to sit on the other two uncomfortable looking chairs. Still had an amazing time! Hope to be back soon!!

My wife and I arrived later than expected. Once we figured out where we were suppose to go we made it to the condo which was under expectations to say the least. The door code let us in but when we went to retrieve the remainder of our luggage the door would not lock. We called for assistance and someone from the support line asked to repeat the same process 4x with not a different result. As we waited for a solution, I checked my email and noticed a service request had already been submitted for the cable service being inoperative. In the request, they wanted to know when someone would be in the unit between this and that time, a 4 hour hour window I believe. As I started to get frustrated, I began to walk around the unit and noticed that the cleanliness was below par. My wife, who was communicating with the support staff asked me to turn on some lights. I proceeded to flip switches and quickly realized roughly half of the lights were operational throughout the unit. At this point, my wife asked to speak with a manager and was told no, you may not speak with a manager. When we asked why we were told they were attending to other tasks (based on our experience I can see why). We left the unit roughly 30 minutes after we arrived and went to another place we had stayed in the past. We were greeted promptly and our expectations were met. The next morning we called back, again, and asked to speak to a manager...and again we were told NO. We will never consider contacting this organization again in the future. This has nothing to do with VRBO. This has to do with Venture. I hope that this review helps VRBO in vetting business's they cooperate with as well as the Host who employees Venture.

Location is spectacular

This property had spectacular location. Huge balcony with great views of the fireworks and live music. Condo was spacious and perfect for our family (adults + 2 babies). The only downfall was the cleanliness was subpar. (example, stains on chair slipcovers and dirty floors). Overall, this is an excellent property that I would recommend to others.

Baytown

Our only complaint is that directly in front of our balcony, Baytown was doing heavy construction and renovations. The large dump trucks filled with gravel started at 7:30am each morning! And constant beeping of the backhoe all day. The view from our balcony was not appealing due to construction. If the rental agency had told us this was going on only a few feet from the unit, we would not have rented it.

This condo is perfect! It is directly in the middle of Baytown in Sandestin. Everything is close.

We will definitely rent this unit again. Reasonably priced too. Our daughters yacht is in the marina and we were able to enjoy the emerald coast up close and personal. Thank you to the owners and all involved!

Perfect Location and Accommodating Customer Service

We booked this as a long weekend getaway for two couples. We arrived and found the unit as advertised and truly fantastic, especially the location and deck! Unfortunately, early in our stay my brother in law had a medical emergency was was hospitalized. (Nothing to do with the unit, something internal that just surfaced.) He needed surgery and as a result we needed and asked for some flexibility on check out times etc… 1. This unit is literally 2 miles from the hospital, which is fantastic. 2. In addition to all the fun things at the Wharf, you have phenomenal shopping a mile away that includes Williams Sonoma, Anthropologie, a Publix…really anything you’d want or need 3. The unit has great parking and is close to the doors/ramps/elevators. We never had to struggle to find a spot. 4. The Venture Found staff was so helpful during this unexpected chaos. We would definitely rent this unit and from them again:)
