Resting on a hilltop in the quiet neighborhood of Gulf Pines, Ocean Breeze catches not only the summer winds but spectacular views of the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico as well. Conveniently located between the shopping, dining, and nightlife of the Sandestin Resort, and the largest discount designer shopping outlet in the country, Silver Sands, Gulf Pines neighborhood offers a private retreat from the world with over 1000 feet of private beach for homeowners and guests. Gingerbread trim on the verandahs lends a coastal charm, and a color palette on the first floor of sand, sky, and ocean adds a relaxing element to the home. The open floor plan welcomes the entire family to enjoy time together whether it is dining at the table for ten or gathering around the flat-screen television to catch a few minutes of the big game. The bedroom located on the first floor includes a king-sized bed, double twin bunks, and a full ensuite bath for privacy. Another half bath on this floor serves as a powder room for visiting guests.

The second floor offers a second master bedroom complete with king sized bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed, as well as a private bathroom and balcony. Two other guest rooms on this level offer multiple sleeping arrangements and share a bathroom with one room featuring two queen beds and a twin-over-full bunk bed, balcony, and a flat-screen TV, while the other guest suite includes a king sized bed, balcony, and a flat-screen TV.

The third level of Ocean Breeze features a king-sized bed, full bathroom, wide-screen TV, wet bar for refreshments, and fantastic views from the private rooftop balcony.

Great family place

This house was wonderful for our whole family. We had 9 adults 1 teenager 3 kids and 1 infant. The rooms worked out perfectly and we all felt we had our own space. The pool was wonderful we were in it daily and the beach was right around the corner. We walked to the beach and used the golf cart. Would definitely recommend!

The layout of the home and the beds works well for our crew. The private pool is great for the grands. It has a side yard where our little baseball player loves to hit and catch. Great memories have been made every visit! The only issue we had was the fridge - it was a new fridge. The freezer didn't make ice and the repairman came out on Tuesday. That's the only reason for the four stars - otherwise it would be five stars!

Ocean Breeze was a perfect house for our family vacation. It was wonderful having king beds in 4 out of the 5 bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat/drink in. The upstairs room has a balcony with an amazing view. Every bedroom and the living room have flat screen TVs with cable box and DVD player. The location was amazing. We mostly drove the two blocks to the beach to take all of our gear. But you can definitely walk. The beach was private just for the neighborhood. It’s so pretty - white sand and blue water. The pool, which we got heated, was so nice to have. We’d spend part of the day at the beach and part in the pool. Recommended restaurants: Acme Oyster House, Pompano Joe’s, and Surf Hut. I’d stay in Ocean Breeze again. No recommendations for change.

This house is beautiful and spacious! As soon as you enter the front door, you know you're gonna have a GREAT vacation. It's beautifully decorated and has spacious rooms. The owners have thought of utilizing ALL the space available by adding bunks in some bedrooms. This house can comfortably sleep 24 and still have space. There are 4 bathrooms which makes cleaning up a breeze when you have extra people. The back yard is perfect for the evenings to cook and hang out at the pool. There is plenty of seating space inside and out. There is also a connected side yard that is fenced and grassy for your furbabies if you choose to bring them along. Although Hurricane Michael cut our vacation short, we enjoyed every minute in this house. It is about a half mile from the private beach access, but is an easy walk or you can park directly at the entrance. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting an upscale beach escape!

Only 2 tiny things the third floor is a very warm area, and the outside grill pool area has no covering for the sun. But other than that, very spacious. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and cookware. My mother was happy with a bedroom on the 2nd floor because the beds were adjustable, and she was able to sleep very comfortable. The private beach was a plus and the beach entrance very close to house. We had an issue with the golf cart and the office had the problem resolved with hours. We were very happy staying at Ocean Breeze.

Great stay - nice neighborhood - private beach!

6 adults and 4 kids, plenty of room! - The house is big and comfortable and clean enough- I never feel like rentals are spotless, but it was in fine condition upon arrival. -Due to the pandemic we ate every meal at the house & had enough room for 3 in the kitchen to make meals - the kitchen is not huge, but fine for maneuvering if making big meals. The grill has a gas line which is very convenient, too. There is a mini fridge upstairs for extra cool-storage. -The house has two golf carts parked in the driveway. They should consider renting with the house for an additional fee! -The pool is very nice! Great size and there is plenty of seating around it. The outdoor shower made rinsing off easy. We loved the flyovers of the military planes practicing during the day, too. -There is a gas fire pit. We made s’mores one night which was fun for the kids. -The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, safe and clean. Mix of owners and renters- new builds and older homes. The locals are incredibly friendly. One offered beach toys for our kids to play with if we needed them as we walked by her home on our way back from the beach, and two different people offered my parents in their late 60’s a ride home on a hot day from the beach. Renting a golf cart would be wise if you have kids and a lot of stuff, however, there is lots of parking by the beach. The walk is totally manageable and easy without beach gear. -The private beach is very nice. We were so pleased. It was very easy to socially distance and we never felt like we had to “fight” for space. -They provide two umbrellas and some chairs. We didn’t use their chairs- but the umbrellas were great. We brought one, so it was nice to have the additional 2. -Due to Covid they removed beach towels. Linens are also dry cleaned which is nice but the bedding is very simple - sheets and a thicker blanket. Again, due to Covid and all linens having to be dry cleaned, so I understand- but setting expectations. -Rental company was nice to work with. Things have been stressful with the pandemic, and they did their best to keep us updated. They checked in mid-way through our stay which was a nice touch.

Perfect for our family!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented homes for our family vacation for the last 8 plus years. This is the first home that has been immaculate! We where all impressed with the cleanliness! We also have great customer service. We had an issue with the ice maker and they came promptly to fix it. There was only one downside to this home. They only had one refrigerator so we where running to the store every other day. Otherwise, this place is perfect. We already booked for next year.
