LUAU - Sandestin Beachside. TRAM/Wifi/beach gear..

My condo is inside Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. You'll love my place because it is right by the Sandestin Beach, nicely decorated, very well maintained, and with porcelain wood tile throughout. I provide TRAM Access, reliable WIFI, Netflix with thousands of TV shows and movies and beach chairs & umbrella and a cart to carry them all to the beach. I have a King size bed and a queen size cool gel memory foam sofa bed, a kitchenette with microwave, kitchen sink and a mid size refrigerator.

Luau is the newest building at the beachside of the Sandestin Resort. The Luau complex has one of the nicest saltwater pools on the resort, with waterfall, kid pool, hot tub and snack bar with tropical surroundings. There is a fitness center and a Meeting Room and plenty of jogging and biking trails to enjoy. Luau's 20th floor observation deck is great for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The Luau buildings sit on top of a rise just 2 minutes walk from the beaches of Sandestin right next to Hilton.

Please Note: Luau Building 1 will be undergoing exterior painting and restoration during June, through October 15th. You may hear occasional noise during standard business hours. (excluding weekends). We want to ensure you're aware in advance. Pricing during this period has been discounted to reflect these temporary inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding!

The Sandestin Resort area is the best resort in the area and has so much to offer. This security gated community provides added safety for the family. With its championship golf courses, tennis centers, miles of bike/jogging trails, miles of beaches, restaurants, shops, Baytowne Wharf, and children's activities all just inside the resort. The Marina with jet ski and watercraft rentals, Jolee Island and the multiple tree houses and nature walks are just a part of what this top resort destination offers. You will have plenty to do!. Sandestin Kid's club is very highly rated.

You will find this 2nd floor Luau I condo; a luxury place to relax and enjoy while visiting the Sandestin Resort area. Our condo is family owned and operated within the resort. We are going to provide you with personal service that you can not find with big management companies. This is the only condo we have; so you are going to get our full attention.
With the largest Studio floor plan (~500 sq feet) this is a luxury decorated Studio condo that sleeps up to four. We have one King Size bed, a sofa in the living room that converts to a Queen Size bed. A bathroom, kitchenette, and small living room exactly as seen in the pictures. Free High Speed WiFi is included. Wired ethernet is available and two RJ45 ethernet cables are included for wired connections. We have big Screen LCD TV and DVD in the unit. Netflix is provided as complimentary. Coffee Machine, blender, Microwave oven, hotel size Refrigerator, Iron/Ironing board are included. This is a non-smoking unit -not even at the balcony- and guest pets are unfortunately not allowed in LUAU.

Our condo is equipped with a key-less lock system that makes check-in a breeze, no keys to get, just go directly to your room. Plus the key-less lock system provides added security for you and top that off with the fact that the Luau is in a gated area with controlled access you could not find a safer spot.

Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway or planning that beach family vacation this is a great place for you.

You will have access to our beach closet that includes beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for that sandcastle! All you have to do is grab the beach bag, grab the chairs, and stroll to the beach with the provided beach cart. Since we are on the beach side it is a short 2-3 minute walk from your front door!
Our goal is to provide you a family owned place to stay that makes you feel like you're in a home away from home and you will return for years to come. I will be available to you 24/7. We have enjoyed the area for years and hope you and your family will do too!

Cleaning is provided at the end of your stay, right after you check-out. We kindly ask that you follow check-out timelines. If there is no guest arriving after you check-out or check-in, we may allow early check-in or late check-out. Just ask.

Maid services during your stay is also available for a fee. Just ask! May be you just want your bed to be made, or replenish the shampoo, replaces the towels, or a vacuum, or all of the above!

We calculate our pricing based on similar west looking units and Sandestin's own pricing. Sandestin also adds 14% compulsory resort fee with limited benefits. When that fee is added, our Studio condo pricing is around 45% less than Sandestin pricing with the following additional benefits:
- Free High Speed WiFi (upload - yes upload - speeds up to 30MB/sec.)
- wired network connection and two sets of cable included.
- Netflix with thousands of movies and TV shows
- Umbrella/Chairs, beach toys and a Cart to carry them all to the beach. Tommy Bahamas have coolers in them to keep your food and drinks cool at the beach!
- Stroller & Crib in the storage area

You will have access to Sandestin TRAM the LUAU pool, LUAU gym, LUAU barbeque area, LUAU observation decks, LUAU meeting room, LUAU parking and LUAU vending machines and laundry machines.

Please note that this is a non-smoking unit. Pets are not allowed in the building per HOA (Home Owners' Association).

Groceries: Publix on highway 198 (East of the property) is very close; you may get groceries from there. For longer stays, remember to pack personal toiletry items including shampoo, conditioner and soap. These items are only provided to last for a couple of days to get you covered before you visit the local grocery store. You can have your groceries delivered via Instacart. enter zip code 32550 and choose the Publix, and you can have your groceries delivered in an hour or two.

There is also a Walmart a couple miles east of Publix for any of your others needs.

We strongly recommend a visit to Destin Marina; there are nice restaurants with a view (AJ's is the most famous one), kids activities as well as water sports there. We also recommend the Dolphin tour. We heard that morning tours are much better. You may see the dolphins up close also with the Jet Ski's. There are 4-5 tour operators for the dolphin tours at the Destin Marina.

Village of Baytowne Wharf is at a walking distance (roughly 30-40 minutes scenic walk), there are kid's activities, as well as restaurants and shopping, there is a convenience shop in the village, an ATM, an automatic dvd renting machine etc.

Another Broken Egg Café is a famous breakfast place at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. However there may be a long waitlist. Recommend to install Nowait app and get into the waitlist 30 min before arrival.

During higher occupancy season, there are kid's day camps, you may check with the Sandestin main number to get your little ones in, if you are interested.

We also recommend a visit to the Outlet Stores that is a couple of miles on the right, on your way to Destin Marina. They sell designer brands at a discount.

There is live music and entertainment in Baytowne Wharf at nights; it is a nice place to visit. Also do not miss the fireworks.

Check the Iphone or Android app for Sandestin, it is very cool.

Your rental includes the TRAM, or you may drive with your car and/or walk to Baytowne Wharf village. We walk in the mornings and drive in the afternoon, there is an overflow parking next to the Baytowne Wharf village in front of the big hotel.
There are no working fixed phones in the condo. Cell phone reception for the major carriers is very good.

You may rent bicycles in the resort, call Sandestin or check the web pages provided to find the locations. You may also try Bikes r us. They will bring the bikes to you and will pick them up. You may also rent canoes from Sandestin.

Check out the Sunset Deck on 20th floor. This is for use of all the guests. Sunsets and fire-works are great to watch from there.

There is a game room in Luau I building and an Exercise room with fitness equipment in Luau II building. Both doors are not locked and open to all guests of the building.

Your rental does include TRAM. We walk in the mornings and drive in the afternoon, there is an overflow parking next to the Baytowne Wharf village in front of the big hotel.
Please note: Motorcycles are not allowed inside Sandestin Resort. This also applies to other specialty vehicles, including large vans, oversized trucks, and recreational vehicles (RVs). The height limit for the parking garage entrance at the Luau at Sandestin Resort is 6 feet 10 inches
