Could have been better

The house was ok. Furniture was cheap but beds slept good. The problem that we had was the house must’ve been added onto through the years but the electrical panel had not. The house didn’t have enough electricity running through it so you couldn’t run your hairdryers (huge problem for us women), microwave never heated your food, and lights flickered like a disco throughout the whole house. Notified VRBO, they sent an electrician but as we already knew, it wasn’t a run out and fix problem. The whole house needed to be rewired or upgraded to fit the size of the house. Could’ve been a fire hazard and burned the whole house down. Thankfully that didn’t happen but it could with the next person. The renters had to have already known this because it was written in a book in the house by previous customers. This was not an overnight problem. This has been happening for a while. Won’t be suggesting this house to anyone. And won’t be renting again.

Great place for multiple families

Overall this was a great house for our 3 daughters, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Reasonably priced. Plenty of room for everyone, we each had a bedroom, bathroom & flat screen TV. Never felt on top of each other. Kitchen is well stocked with everything (pots, pans, dishes) you need for cooking. Kuerig coffee maker for single cup or pot. Very Easy 5 minute walk to PRIVATE beach,not nearly as crowded as all the other beaches plus you can drive and park if you choose.Pool/hot tub were perfect, very clean & bigger than I thought it would be, plus we thought it was very private, it sets back from the road. Also lots of parking, no problem for 4 vehicles, but unable to access garage. Didn’t really need it.Lots of outdoor space, even a flat screen TV. Decks wrap around half of the house with plenty of chairs.What should be fixed:Something not right with the power. Lights flickered all the time and when we turned on the clothes dryer, lights went totally out for a second, then right back on. Gas stove burners would not stay lit, kept going off and on & sometimes we couldn’t get it to relight. Some of the bathtubs need to be replaced (moldy shower doors), but vanity and flooring were fine. Photos of a gas grill are deceptive as there is not a working gas grill. It’s missing a hose to connect a gas tank to the grill plus it was filthy and gross. There’s a very SMALL Weber kettle for grilling.The pacman machine was broken & couldn’t be fixed.

Large house

The house was great, lots of beds, plenty of room for multiple families or a large group. Not a lot of privacy, neighbors do not like any type of loud noises. Pool area is visible from the road, not private at all. Otherwise a great place to stay. Beach was nice and not crowded at all.
