Located just a couple blocks from the Miramar Beach access and Pompano Joe’s, you will find Sandprints. This low-rise complex is designed as a horseshoe with a gated pool in the center and is tucked into a beach neighborhood. It boasts a short walk to the beach and several restaurants nearby. Each unit features a full kitchen along with a washer/dryer for your convenience. For the budget-conscious guest, it is a home run! The complex is also convenient to the Silver Sands Outlets, Destin Commons, Village of Baytowne Wharf, and the Grand Boulevard Town Center. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef, Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of the permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or another flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Sandprints D11. This rental is only a couple of blocks from the beach and is near Pompano Joe’s. We had no problem walking to and from the beach. The living room provided us with comfortable spots to read when an afternoon thunderstorm kept us indoors for a while. We were provided with two tiny bars of packaged hand soap in the bathroom, which just barely made it through the weekend. If we had checked before going to the grocery store, we would have brought soap, coffee filters and clothes detergent with us. We would be happy to stay there again.

Nice place, really just used it to sleep and shower. Short walk to beach and restaurants. The condo had toy, umbrella, cooler to take to the beach, which was extremely amazing. Very cozy.

Our overall stay was ok. This was my forth time going to Destin with my family and 3rd time staying/renting a condo at the same property Sandprints. The condominium itself was not clean upon arrival specifically the bathroom I arrived to take a shower and almost slipped and fell due to the bathroom cleaner still soaking the bathroom. There was hair in the bath that was not mine the toilet was not clean. The bathroom doors would not close very well I was afraid to even touch move them because it could break. There were towels in the washer I was not sure if they were clean or dirty. The bed sheets I had to wash because there was sand in the bed. I did address this with the host and advised her that her cleaning people did not do a great job cleaning. In addition, upon my arrival I could not connect to the Wi-Fi and had issues for like two days I was logging in to the wrong network. The host finally provided me with the network information that should be provided with the password. I did talk to host after I left because my mother lost her keys and thinks she left them at the property. While I talked to the host, she brought up a few minor things like me leaving a few clean dishes in the dishwasher vs putting them up. I apologies for that and that was my error. She complained that she now had to put them up herself. What bothered me the most was the host made it seem like I left the property flipped inside out. I left the property just as I found it as I have all the other properties I’ve stayed at. I have never had issues I take care of properties just as I would my own home. She complained about patio furniture being moved and complained about the sofa bed being moved. I was actually confused because the property is so small and tight that you barely have space move around. I overall enjoyed Destin and was not going to let minor inconveniences ruin my vacation, which was overdue. I appreciate the host being very responsive and returning calls and looking for my mother’s keys unfortunately, they were not found. The condo overall was ok it has everything you need it just needs minor repairs and a whole new cleaning crew.

Great Condo

We love staying at sandprints. This unit didn’t disappoint. It was clean, well equipped, nicely decorated, and just a couple minute walk to the beach. It is much quieter and less crowded than larger condo complexes. There were times when we were the only ones at the pool.

Great one bedroom condo. I only gave it 4 stars because the over head main kitchen light wasn’t working correctly so we had a dim kitchen for the week plus the bathroom needed to have a really good cleaning. The edging/ledge on shower looked as if it had not been properly cleaned in a while. Those were minor things though and overall it was a great place. I’d recommend it plus would stay there again.

Perfect location

We had some issues with lighting being out and some broken items but overall it was a good stay. Fast responses from owner and great location. It’s walking distance to the beach and pompano Joe’s and the pool is super close. The bed was very firm which I love! I’d recommend bigger towels. My husband is 6ft and 250 lbs~these towels barely went around me let alone him but luckily we were able to use our beach towels and wash them. The owner requested to turn water on and off on washer but it’s wedged in a corner where it can’t be reached (luckily my husband could get to it). The issues we had weren’t enough to deter us from coming back next year since the location is perfect and it’s a cute place overall.
