A great weekend away. Definitely worth upgrading the room for a sea view. Amazing dinner at the attached pub. At breakfast, Susan could not have been more helpful. An enjoyable experience from start to finish.
We stayed here for a night at the beginning of November. The girl on reception was lovely and explained everything so well. The little library was warm and cosy, perfect after nearly 5 hours driving. The room was warm and spacious and felt very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, not only for the brilliant food but also the view of the sea. Loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Recently stayed in the Armada Hotel for my nieces wedding, it was a fantastic weekend. The hotel staff couldn't have done more to accommodate us. As a venue its spectacular, even on a November rainy day, food was superb and the accomodation was a very high standard with wonderful sea views. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and I have to make special mention of Grainne, who was exceptional in her role as wedding coordinator to the very happy couple. We rounded the weekend off by joining the snamaisasta group on the beach for a quick, very cold dip in the wild Atlantic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here in Oct , the view from the room, the small thoughtful things like the pink lemonade and seaweed for the bath . The food in the restaurant was lovely and a lovely atmosphere in the bar. 10000% be back as soon as we can . Thank you Armada
Attended a family wedding in this hotel last week. Didnt stay in the hotel so can't comment on rooms, but those who did stay were very happy. It is easy to see why this hotel is so highly rated as a wedding venue. Firstly such friendly, professional and helpful staff - and you really got a sense everyone there really enjoyed ensuring all guests had a wonderful time. I noted to my brother-in-law (grooms father) that you felt as if your wedding was the only one they were doing that year and they were going to all they could to make it most memorable for everyone. He was also most complimentary of the helpfulness of staff when they arrived to set up the room with flowers etc for the ceremony. Your staff should all be so proud. The food was excellent, with all dishes served hot and everyone served together (doesn't often happen with a big crowd) - and most generous helpings and seconds for all. Vegetables were so good - perfectly cooked. What more can I say - you guys knocked it out of the park. Well done and continued success.
This hotel had a good name for some reason so we booked it. Nice costly bar. Bar staff were good. Very limited menu unless you like fish. Carpets very worn and old. Breakfast was cold and the staff very slow. Bang average hotel. Disappointed.
We stayed at the Armada for one night after booking directly from their website. Our room was fab. We were upgraded to a seaview room after asking at check in. We had dinner in the Pearl restaurant and drinks in Johnny Burkes. Breakfast was delicious! The staff couldn't have been nicer and were so friendly and accommodating...especially Abdul at reception! Highly recommend the Armada for a night away...we'll definitely be back!
Quite simply superb food and the wine list was very good with decent inexpensive wines. The scallops and salmon were delicious . Nice bar( pub) for after dinner drink. Wedding on so parking was tight but ok. Beautiful location with great views
Twelve of us stayed here to celebrate my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. The location is exceptional as it is right on the oceanfront. The staff were above friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Then again we were in County Clare which is known for such things. I have rarely experienced this kind of high quality and personalized customer service reminiscent of The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin or other five star locations. The food in both the pub and dining room was fresh, tasty and well-presented. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the Armada staff for a terrific stay!
