A few things to note before booking The Crow's Nest:
*You will have to climb 19 exterior steps to get to the entrance of our guest house. There are no interior steps once you’re inside.
*We have a separate and free WiFi for our guest house; you’ll be given the network name and password before you arrive. You’ll need to enable your phone for WiFi calling since cell service is unreliable where we live.
*We do allow dogs (housebroken and friendly dogs only for a maximum of 2) for a one time fee. We do have a small dog and two cats that live here with us. If your dog isn’t great with other animals, then you will need to keep them on a leash. Please make sure to check the box "I am traveling with pets" on the "travelers” portion of your reservation so that the pet fee will automatically generate.
*Our surrounding yard is large but it is not fenced in, so your dog will need to remain under your control when on our property. We have two cats and a small dog that live with us and we routinely have deer, turkey and rabbits visit us here. If your dog isn’t good with other animals you will need to keep your dog leashed while outside. There is a low voltage electric fence on the farmland next door and below our property so be sure to make children aware of this and do your best to keep pets away from the fencing.
*The gravel road in front of our house is a privately maintained driveway that leads to two other full time residences. Please do not go down our road out front past our house, (to the right of our property as looking at it from the front) as while our neighbors are wonderful and friendly they would prefer to maintain their privacy.
*Before booking, please be sure to read over our house rules first to make sure it is a good fit for your group. When you make your reservation, please tell us the total number of people in your group and should you be travelling with any pets, let us how many you will be bringing. Lastly, if you have any specific questions about the property, please feel free to include a message with your booking request.
Thank you for your interest in The Crow's Nest! We look forward to sharing our little slice of heaven with you!

Beautiful dog friendly property
We had an amazing time at this property. The owners were super friendly and fast to respond to any questions. We have several pups and it’s really hard to find a rental that will allow us all to stay so this place was a gem to find. We will definitely be back!

I wanted to stay forever
We felt incredibly lucky that these hosts allow anyone to stay here. It is spectacularly beautiful, with views that no photo could ever adequately capture. Leslie and Wes are welcoming and kind, even sharing from their asparagus patch with us! So tasty! The inside is beautifully furnished, with everything anyone could possibly need. I wanted to plant myself there and never leave.

AWESOME
This place is surprisingly even better and bigger than it looks in the pictures! It’s clean and comfortable and comes with just about everything you could need for a fun trip. The owners are super friendly and made sure that we were all set. We used this place for a guys’ trip and it was perfect for the remote vibes and a quick drive to our river tubing and a super easy drive to Asheville! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for the mountain vibes and also convenience to Asheville.

A Peaceful Weekend Retreat
We enjoyed our stay at The Crow's Nest. The "cottage" was very clean, decorated nicely and provided everything we needed. The view from the family room was lovely. Wes and Leslie were very helpful giving us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The area is quaint but close enough to Hendersonville, Black Mountain and Brevard that one could easily make day trips to these small towns. We did spend a day in Hendersonville and enjoyed walking through the town, shopping and eating. Our experience staying at The Crow's Nest was a very peaceful and enjoyable one and we plan to go back there in the fall.
