When we arrived there was fresh milk in the fridge. And for our dog there was a portion of treats. The location and place were wonderful. We had a great time there. Thank you. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and I will definitely go back there. Thank you.

This was our first time staying at this resort, and I must say we were not disappointed.
This was our first time staying at this resort, and I must say we were not disappointed. Having stayed at various lodges around the country, this one ranks among the top for its stunning scenery. We arrived for a Monday to Friday break and were warmly greeted by a staff member who provided clear and helpful information. Our lodge, styled more like a Scandinavian retreat rather than a modern one, was spacious and clean. While the furniture was of excellent quality, it did show some signs of wear, though it was still beautiful. The only drawback for us was that the beds were a bit too firm for our liking. The site features a small wooded area perfect for walking dogs, which was a great bonus as many other sites lack this facility. We dined at the restaurant twice during our stay—once in the restaurant and once with takeout. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this is a beautiful location, slightly off the beaten path of the famous lakes (about 25 minutes from Coniston), but it offers a wonderfully relaxing stay.

I cannot recommend brockwood hall lodges enough.
I cannot recommend brockwood hall lodges enough. We had an amazing 4 night break there, it was our first family holiday with 6 of us, we stayed in one of the Windermere lodges, the lodge itself was brilliant, the views were amazing, the staff were so kind and helpful, the peacocks were our favourite part too.The restaurant had lovely food and when I explained I had SEN children who I can't have in a restaurant they let me collect my food to take back to the cabin. On the first night I set my sat nav to go get food for us all and unfortunately my sat nav took me the wrong route and I ended up an a single file country road with a tractor driving towards me, I moved off the road onto the grass and my car went into a ditch, I called the reception to see if a groundsman or 2 could help and within 3 minutes I had a crew show up, they pulled my car out of the ditch, got themselves absolutely filthy to save my car and me and my daughter and they then followed me all the way to the village and directed me to the place I needed to go, 1 guy offered to stay with me to help me get back and when I said no he told me the exact route to go so I got back safe, the next day they came to check my car over and asked if me and my daughter were both okay and also recommend some nice places to go in the area, honestly cannot thank them enough and cannot recommend them enough, planning to go back as a family tradition every year, we loved it that much.Overall I think it deserves more than 5 stars and can't wait to go back.
