Our home is the beautifully renovated South Bower's Beach Firehouse. We have 360 degree views of the Delaware Bay and the Murderkill River. Our home is located across the street from a serene private beach, where you can enjoy shell collecting, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. (provided for your use). We have gorgeous views of spectacular sunsets over the marsh from our large deck. This is a bird watcher's paradise. We are located in a quiet neighborhood where nature is at its finest. We have a nice backyard and side yard -complete with a tiki bar, horseshoe pits, and can jam. We have a spacious top floor deck for enjoying a cup of coffee or refreshing cocktail.
We are only 15 minutes away from the DE Turf. A great house to relax in before and after games. We are also about 40 minutes north of Rehoboth Beach DE (where you can enjoy the ocean, outlets, and the boardwalk.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 3.5 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Pink Firehouse

We had a great stay at the Pink Firehouse! We had three teen boys and a 10 year old girl with us and they loved it. Lots of space for everyone and the owners provided so many “extras.” Kids enjoyed darts in the garage, kayaking and exploring the area. The house was clean and as described. Only downfall is the water. It has a bad sulfur smell and it was hard to shower and brush teeth etc., but not to worry, there is plenty of drinking water provided and there is a grocery store close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a getaway

We had a wonderful time at the firehouse. The property was a great peaceful place to stay. The host has great communication and was super easy to work with. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay at the firehouse again.

Can’t recommend this home highly enough! We were 5 adults and 4 small children getting away for a long weekend. The house was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was very well-appointed, with all of the tools we needed to prepare several meals. They generously shared equipment for exploring the beach and the water— we took advantage of the beach chairs. The backyard was a great space to play with the kids, and the upper deck was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The neighborhood was quiet, and there’s a nice, quiet beach just across the street. The hosts were generous, kind, and prompt in their communication. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect beach house for a quiet vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pink Firehouse. We were 2 families that typically vacation together and the layout was perfect. The house was beautiful and we loved the rear deck view of the marsh and river and the river and bay view on the sides and from the living areas. The host was very responsive to questions and we had no concerns at all. Would definitely return to this house in the future! Thank you again for sharing your home!
