Cosy shepherds hut

Really enjoyed our stay at The Hurdle. Really comfy and cosy accomodation and more roomy than we expected! Great location next to the church and alpacas outside our window. Visited Fishguard, Tenby, St David's and Solva, all a reasonable drive away. Property was mostly clean with plenty of kitchen equipment and clean bedding and towels. Although it wasn't spotless and we did have to wash the crockery and glasses before use. There was a pipe leak during our stay which the caretaker came to look at. Unfortunately this wasnt resolved during our holiday so we had to mop up the floor each morning and night. Overall an enjoyable stay and would visit again.

Good value self catering in a popular destination

Well located in Pembrokeshire for visiting local attractions. The Shepherds Hut has all the facilities needed for a short stay and is best suited for couples. The neighbouring Huntsman pub does excellent beer and basic bar meals. The only thing missing is an electric kettle as boiling water can take a while.
