Atrocious is where I can begin. The staff were rude, cold and unhelpful. The resort itself and the apartments were nice and comfortable however the food was disgusting, the buffet wasn't labelled so you didn't even know what you were eating (probably for the best). Their "entertainment" consisted of poor tribute acts doing Christmas songs at times and that was it. They would charge you €2 for tap water which call me mistaken I thought was free in most places, especially when the weather is in the 30's. The showers only have two settings; boiling hot or ice cold. The beds were uncomfortable and the entire experience was a huge let down.

Crown Resorts at Club Marbella Calahonda – June 2017 My wife and I have just returned from a one week stay at Club Marbella, through RCI. Our apartment was 2 bedroomed, 1 with twin beds and bathroom and the other was double bedded with en-suite. This was ideal as it gave us space. The kitchen was on the small side but adequate. It had all the usual plus a washing machine, microwave and tall fridge freezer. The through & through dining and lounge area were a good size. The lady looking after our room was lovely, always smiling. There is a small mini market on site but a 5 minute walk takes you to some better stocked shops. The main supermarkets are approx. 5 minutes away by car. The grounds are well maintained. If you have a car, you park opposite the complex, (free of charge) and walk in. Reception were helpful and professional at all times. Downsides were that the walls and windows were paper thin and as a result you could hear everything all around you from people talking, tables screeching, next doors TV and kids crying. Also, the A/C and electrics kept on tripping and cutting out even though all the windows and doors were permanently closed. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Had to pay for Wi-Fi in my room. Received a few usual customary calls for the RCI sales person in the morning whilst I was asleep. All in all, this place is better suited for families than couples. Room Tip: Not suitable for disabled due to hills, slopes, stairs. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g580271-d583987-r120045575-Club_Marbella_Regency_Palms_Crown_Resort-Mijas_Costa_del_Sol_Province_of_Malaga_A.html#

The apartments were clean, reception staff very friendly, resort amenities are many and top notch. But the best part of this resort is the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet bar. Delicious, delicious, delicious! The evening shows are fun. We watched the flamenco dance show performed by 3 beautiful Spanish women. Great show. This is a quiet resort with well kept surroundings located in a residential neighborhood. Do all your grocery shopping before Sunday. All the stores are pretty much closed on Sunday. Whatever you do, AVOID THE SUPERSOL GROCERY STORE located in the neighborhood. Very expensive groceries and very unfriendly manager with zero customer service. If you have any problems with items bought in that store and you go back to the manager for assistance, you are outta luck. He will not help and he will not attend to you. The resort has a free shuttle that drops off and picks up guests in the shopping areas of neighborhood. Specifically ask driver to not drop you off at the Supersol store for your grocery shopping. Request other grocery stores in the area. Their groceries are much cheaper than at Supersol.

Lovely hotel, resort clean, staff very friendly, food basic but good value for money free shuttle to bus stop where you can go to Marbella 30 mins ride and Fuengirola 20 mins, if you prefer to stay at resort there is restaurants and pubs nearby. Area is a little hilly so may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Has gym, sauna and indoor pool also hair salon on site.

We were 4 women and I used RCI to exchange for a week at this hotel. We had a two bedroom two bath. It was very spacious and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is situated right in the center of the east and west coast of Spain so you will be at either end in 3 hours. We did day trips to Cadiz, Tangier, Malaga, Seville, Marbella and Mijas. Overall it was great experience. The hotel offers nightly entertainment the pool was always full of people and a great relax spot. The food buffet was also plentiful and delicious with lots of options and there is also an a la carte option. This resort is situation on a hill so bring your confortable walking shoes and prepare to go up and down stairs! Resort provides easy paRking in their lot, overall a great resort!

We got to the resort, wasn't real happy with it when we walked in. Checked in and then we had to take our luggage to our room. So they sold us on the "brand new" renovated room which was ok, nothing special, but we did it. Now, keep in mind, going back to the front desk or the front of the hotel, is a straight up a hill walk and not one for wheelchairs. So when you check out, you are lugging your luggage up the straight up hill, so be prepared. It was steep. Next thing we found out is that you have to pay for the in room safe, seriously nickel and dime you, so bring lots of nickels and dimes. And, you had to purchase WIFI for each part of the hotel. So our friend who needed WIFI, bought it for the room, but we couldn't use it anywhere else in the hotel. If you wanted WIFI for the pool, yep that was another cost. Really, we paid extra for that stupid room and you would think we would get something for FREE. Not a chance. We were lucky that we didn't have to pay for the toilet use. The food was fair, not a lot of taste. We also had ants in our room and I believe it took my husband and I three times complaining to finally get them to spray. And our room only had enough hot water for 2 showers and there were 4 of us. So we had to spread out the showers per day. Seriously not happy and WILL NEVER STAY IN A CROWN RESORT again.

Just come back had a fantastic time the new sapphire rooms are excellent everyone at the resort are so friendly and facilities are spot on. Special thanks to the kids club 2 Antonios Monica and Maria my grandaughter Bella loved it.The drinks and food in the bar were good, as were surrounding eating places.

Had a wonderful time here and had great facilities and everything we need. This hotel even has a minibus which takes you to the shops and the beach. Just getting refurbished to an excellent standard. Good restaurant's and shops nearby.

We stayed here 4 weeks last year and did the same this year. Buildings of resort looks a little bit old fashioned when you see them the first time. Only one building have elevator. But you have everything here. Flats are comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Kitchen with all you need. Living room with TV ( Norwegian and English channels), table for eating ( 6 persons) and a balcony. Indoor and outdoor pool, heated. Sauna, fitness room and jacuzzi. During winter season many Norwegian pensioners living here. Lots of restaurants few steps away.

I recommend this hotel, it has acess to diferent restaurant such as indian, suisse, italian, english and spanish. Great swimming pool climatizeted and big houses with great kitchens. Employs are very sympathique. It has an mini golf zone, bar, gameroom and other places with activities for all ages.
