"I liked that the hotel was new and the decor had a great asthetic! The furnishings were nice and modern! The rating was lower because there was a motion sensor in the rooms and the lights went out several times including when I was in the shower. It was funny at first after we discovered the issue, but quite annoying when it happened repeatedly. My son got up to use the restroom in the wee hours of the morning and the lights came on and disrupted my sleep. Regarding cleanliness, there was also a used bar of soap in the shower and hair on the floor which meant the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. The AC unit was extremely loud, so we turned it off. Lastly, the shower door did not hold the water and water ran out on the floor. Lastly, the buffet ran out of food an hour before it closed and the guests had to wait for food. The two staff that were servicing the buffet were gracious and attempted to respond to all concerns."

It’s an excellent value for the price in Ventura, especially with the easy parking right outside the door. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate quality and convenience."
