Online it says it has an EV charging station but it doesn't. But not too much of a setback otherwise the place was very cute and hospitable! Great Vermont charm!

Owners are super friendly and work the property with an excellent staff and the food is exceptional. It is a simple, rustic and well cared for property that was comfortable and very accommodating. No room phones or TV, but l that is not why I loved it. In fact itā€™s one of its pluses.

What's not to like about a beautiful historic inn in central Vermont that was featured in the Bob Newhart show? It's well kept, and the staff are friendly and personable. I didn't get to try the food, but the restaurant is clearly popular.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night during our trip to Vermont and we adored it. Its quiet, charming, and very hands off which I like. We called ahead of time to inform the desk staff that weā€™d be arriving a bit later then typical check in hours and they were very willing to provide us with our keys and the door code so that we could get in after operating hours. Fortunately we made it on time, but the fact that they even offered was more than we had anticipated. The on location restaurant was far better than your average hotel room service with affordable beer and drink, and the complementary breakfast was a limited menu but had one of the better breakfasts Iā€™ve eaten in recent months. It feels homemade and thatā€™s because it is. Almost everything on the menu, down to the yogurt, was locally sourced. We would not only stay here another night but make a trip out of it to stay here for longer. Itā€™s that charming.

This is a beautiful property. The staff and innkeeper are efficient and friendly. Cookies in the room and on the front desk were a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room at night was perfect for Valentine's Day. The piano player was outstanding.

A very authentic inn

Pros: - Very authentic inn. Feels more like being a guest in a house than staying in a hotel. - Great bar and a restaurant - Very friendly staff - Great location if you would like to explore Rikert and Snowbowl or Middlebury. Cons: I didn't mind this at all, but at night, you can hear the people talking in other rooms very clearly, as if there were no walls between rooms. I could very clearly hear the person in the next room snoring. Just in case you are sensitive to this, please be aware.

The uniqueness were no clocks in rooms, no tv in rooms and the atmosphere was relaxing. The things we didnā€™t like were The day before you check in they hold your whole reservation cost plus an extra $ 200 from which ever account your using, they do not tell you about this when bookingā€¦ They hold the money till you check out. I brought this up to the front desk and she said they get multiple calls from people complaining the Waybury Inn does this, she also stated people state they are strapped for money due to the Inn not telling people about this an just taking and holding itā€¦Breakfast was not good, pancakes were raw and meat was questionable.

This is a gem! The Inn is convenient to Middlebury College and is very quiet. After a long drive, it was so nice to be able to walk downstairs to the pub and have a delicious meal. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts that came with the stay were delicious. The staff was super friendly. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

The bed and breakfast nice just not great cell reception, no tv in room. The rooms are smaller but it is a B&B. The breakfast was great and the restaurant and bar attached was great also.
