Our reservation was cancelled by the host as we were on our way from the airport to the unit. The host said it was due to "maintenance" issues. I find it hard to believe they didn't have any advanced notice. On top of that we were supposed to receive a full refund 5-10 days later. It's been a month & no refund. Stay clear of this one. Total ripoff.

Booked this for NYE , sent the owner several messages that were not answered. Eventually I had to contact VRBO and they rebooked us into another apartment on NYE afternoon!! the day of check in. The owner still didn’t respond… Then I receive a message that my reservation is being canceled due to age .. (my husband and I are 40). ZERO STARS. I’ve NEVER left a negative review but this absolutely deserves one .

After booking this VRBO, I tried many times to get a hold of the host to find out precisely where this VRBO is located. The host NEVER responded to any of my inquiries. I reached out to VRBO support and they told me to contact the host and gave me no more than the property DESCRIPTION the link to the property contained. On THE DAY OF OUR BOOKING, we used the "address" the host provided for this VRBO , and went circling around and around Miami looking for it. Fortunately, our Lyft driver did not leave my 7-year old daughter and me stranded, looking for it. THERE IS NO PROPERTY AT THE LOCATION THE HOST SUPPLIES AT THE LINK. A very kind doorman at a property next to where this property would be, if it existed, walked us to the VRBO on the street number one more than the number the host provided, and that is where the property is. However, right after we arrived and our Lyft driver took off, VRBO CANCELLED OUR STAY. By then, we had paid 50.32 for the Lyft to drive us there and given the Lyft driver 35 cash for kindly not leaving us stranded and so graciously helping us get to the VRBO. So far, VRBO returned our money for the VRBO but they still owe us for the Lyft ride. I would NEVER book with this property again.
