My family and I enjoyed the house and our visit. The house is small and cosy. It is nicely decorated and furnished. This was our first time using a pellet stove for heating. This cabin does not have central heat, so using the pellet stove was necessary and fun. The owner provided clear instructions and it was easy, but there is a bit of a learning curve in its use—getting the right setting to warm the house without making it a sauna. The master bed is very comfortable. Only one bath was a bit of a challenge for 4 adults, but worked better than I feared. The appliances are new and preformed well. Coffee was provided as well as a nice welcome basket. Thanks! There were plenty of glasses/mugs and enough pots/pans, but I suggest adding more dinner plates and salad plates. We needed to run the dishwasher after every meal in order to have dishes for the next meal, which was fine, but I hate running a half empty load. It did not snow while we were there, which made the stairs manageable. I think I would have worried a bit about them if it had. There are quite a few of them from the driveway to the front door! I didn’t realize we would have to turn on the water, but the directions were clear and it was easy. Everything went smoothly. I appreciated the clear instructions and the other little touches that made our visit special.
