Charming Gîte in France for a Private Getaway

Welcome to this inviting detached holiday home in Mézy-Moulins, a peaceful village in the Picardy region of France. With 90 m² of space, the property is designed for up to four guests, offering a comfortable setting for families or small groups looking to enjoy a relaxing stay. On the ground floor you will find a bright living area with both a single and a double sofa bed, along with a TV for cozy evenings. The adjoining dining room includes a large table for shared meals, while the fully equipped kitchen features an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and kettle to make cooking at home easy. A separate toilet completes the layout downstairs. Upstairs, the house offers two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with two single beds, as well as a bathroom with a shower and washbasin. A washing machine, electric heating, and a coffee machine add extra comfort to your stay. Outdoors, the property features a fenced garden with a furnished terrace, parasol, deckchairs, and a barbecue for enjoying warm days and relaxed evenings. Een pareltje is het: gîte Marie-Rose in Picardië. Met een hele grote, idyllische tuin vol verborgen plekjes en een moestuin waaruit allerlei heerlijks komt. Elke dag als ik thuiskwam of de deur uitstapte rook ik de kruiden in de tuin. Zoiets is een blijvende herinnering. De gastvrouw en -heer zijn heel hartelijk: je wordt verwelkomd met "tarte au rhubarbe" (van rabarber uit eigen tuin: heerlijk!) en ze geven je graag informatie over de regio. Die heeft veel meer te bieden dan veel mensen weten: het is de vallei van de Marne met een golvend, afwisselend landschap van bossen en champagnewijngaarden. En tenslotte stonden ze mij ook met raad en daad terzijde toen ik een probleem had met de airco in de auto (er was een hittegolf). Kortom: onvergetelijk en voor herhaling vatbaar!

We werden uitgebreid rondgeleid door de parktuin, kregen groeten uit de moestuin, mochten kruiden plukken en mevrouw had een heerlijke rabarbertaart gebakken. De grote tuin is paradijslijk. Het charmante huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, stijlvol brocante ingericht. Wij, gezin met twee kinderen van 9 en 10 jaar, hebben genoten van ons verblijf!

Schöner Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Mitten im Süden der Champagne mit schöner Aussicht. Möglichkeiten, viele Ausflüge mit (historischen) Sehenswürdigkeiten zu machen. Bei 12 km Chateau-Thierry und Domans. Größere Städte (Epernay, Reims) in 40 km Entfernung.

Wir blieben eine Woche und die Erfahrung war unglaublich. Das Haus ist entzückend, ein typisch ländliches französisches Haus, der Garten ist möglicherweise noch atemberaubender und wird von den Eigentümern sehr gut gepflegt. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und perfekt nutzbar, mit Staubsauger, Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Das Badezimmer ist komfortabel und mit einer großen Dusche ausgestattet. Das Haus ist in tadellosem Zustand gehalten. Die Lage ist großartig, mitten in der Champagne, wir könnten Städte wie Reims oder viele kleine oder große Champagnerproduzenten besuchen. Eurodisney ist auch ziemlich nah (55 km entfernt) und Sie können sehr einfach einen 1-tägigen Besuch planen. Nicht zuletzt sind die Besitzer liebenswerte Menschen, voller Sorgfalt und Aufmerksamkeit. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen und wenn ich mich entscheide, die Gegend zu besuchen, werde ich dorthin zurückkehren.

WW.So empfohlen auf jeden Fall die Betten haben Französische Größen (auch auf der Website), wenn Sie also sehr lang / breit sind, ist es möglicherweise weniger geeignet. Wir dachten, es wäre in Ordnung.

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch die Vermieter und einem ausgiebigen Rundgang durch die verschiedenen Gärten - voller der schönsten Rosen und noch viel schöner - wartete natürlich eine Rhabarberpastete auf uns! Das Ferienhaus ist fein, stilvoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche, auch wegen des herrlichen Wetters, so dass wir viel Zeit draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Die Champagne ist wunderschön und bietet viel zu sehen. Epernay ist für eine Besichtigung eines der Champagnerhäuser sehr zu empfehlen. Das Paar ist wirklich das Freundlichste und wir waren am letzten Tag zu einem Apéro mit Accessoires eingeladen. Wir sind mit einer Schachtel Stecklinge abgereist, nachdem wir eine super Woche in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht hatten. Danke und auf Wiedersehen!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, führten bei der Ankunft durch den Garten und ein hausgemachter Rhabarberkuchen war in der Küche fertig. Das Haus ist attraktiv eingerichtet, sauber und komfortabel. Es gibt mehrere Sitzplätze im Garten, Sonne, Schatten und überdacht. Sie sitzen wunderbar privat. Der Garten hatte jetzt viel unter der Dürre gelitten, der private Garten kann auch genutzt werden. Am Abend vor unserer Abreise wurden wir mit einem Glas Wein und hausgemachter Quiche überrascht. Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Woche mit unseren beiden Töchtern.
