A perfect gateway!

Everything was amazing from the moment we reached until we left. The staff team is excellent, I felt more like home. There was only one incident when we felt an inconvenience from the villa next door but the staff immediately acted and escalated the matter instantly. Needless to say, we were sad that we didn't extend our stay :)

What an amazing property!!! Such a cool location in the dunes. The staff was amazing and helpful during the entire stay. The food was good, the rooms with your own pool were great, and the views were even more incredible. We did a 30 mins dune buggy ride in a Polaris RZR which was sick! I highly recommend doing it. You get to drive! We only had a day on site, and wish we had booked 1-2 more days. I really wanted to swim in the main pool but didn't get a chance. Next time i'm in the UAE!

Great potential, however staff needs training

Same staff members were amazing though: the buggy cart driver that took us from the bungalow to the parking with our luggage was genuinely showing interest in our stay. Also we did a hike to a nearby camel farm through the sand dunes, guided by the pool life guard. The hike through the dunes was really fun and the guide was great! It’s also worth pointing out that this activity was included in the all inclusive package which was a nice touch.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Bab Al Nojoum Bateen Liwa. The scenery was absolutely stunning and gave an unparalleled opportunity to relax and unwind in the vast landscape that is the desert. The staff was absolutely lovely, and May and Neo did a particularly amazing job at making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I cannot thank them enough for making this trip as enjoyable and relaxing as I could have imagined, and I commend the entire staff for the care and attention paid to the needs of each and every guest. Additionally, the hotel facilities and villas were new and extremely well maintained considering the difficulty of keeping facilities sand-free. I absolutely loved my stay at Bab Al Nojoum Bateen Liwa and hope to return again soon!

I just left bab Al nojoum bateen liwa feeling like 2 nights was not enough. I need to thank (again) the entire team for making my stay memorable. The food (breakfast/dinner) was amazing, with a different theme each day. Villa 8 (one bedroom) was perfect. View of the dunes while relaxing in the private pool (temp controlled) made me forget about the heat outside. Although I have not tried the free activities provided, it is a quiet property and you can freely walk on the sand dunes. The drive from Dubai was worth travelling for.

Excellent property - amazing experience

The hotel is simply incredible. It’s a relatively new property and everything is top notch. And before anyone decides to be critical of anything, it would be good to remember that a little over 50 years ago, this used to be one of the most unforgiving and harsh territories. To have created a facility like this in the Empty Quarter is simply an astounding achievement - it’s like a small slice of heaven for one to experience. And apart from the property - the staff are simply superb! They are one of the nicest and kindest people you’ll ever meet and they go out of their way to help the guests. No matter the rush, it’s always service with a smile. All are amazing but two deserve a special mention - Angela (from Rwanda) and Sheela (from Sri Lanka). I had a great stay and would not hesitate to return in the future, it for a second.

The location itself is truly exceptional. The landscape is stunning, surrounded by dunes and beautiful natural colors. The small villas are charming and well-designed, offering a lot of privacy and a unique atmosphere. It really has the potential to be a memorable and special stay. However, the service was extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect from a place like this. When we arrived, the private pool wasn’t even ready. There was still a baby crib left in our room from the previous guests. The front desk simply never answered the phone, no matter how many times we tried to reach them. We ordered room service and it took over an hour to arrive. Overall, the site is amazing, but the service is very poor. There is a clear lack of organization and attention to guests. With proper service standards, this place could be truly outstanding, but as it is today, it falls very short.

AMAZING STAY in the middle of the desert! Having a private villa with pool in such scenarios is really a dream. You can walk safely in the desert, enjoy related activities, and drive around to admire the incredible panorama of Moreeb Dune (please go to the small "local access" streets). We came with a rental car from Dubai and it was a very good choice, highway is very good and easy to drive. Obviously, wind will bring sand to the pool and apartment, but you can call the staff for a quick cleaning. I strongly recommend Bab Al Nojoum for everyone that wants to enjoy the desert at 360 degrees! I would stay at this hotel a thousands times in future to enjoy the desert vibes, but please find below some improvement advises for the hotel owner. Staff is very welcome but sometimes sounds a bit fake, would benefit from better training / social skills. Breakfast and dinner are good, but not excellent. Water bottles should be bigger (only 33cl...). Activities guidebook included in the half board rate plan, but most of them are for children or empty due to low occupancy in low season.

We’re a family of 3 who decided to spend a birthday in the Liwa desert. Chanced upon Bab Al Nojoum Bateen Liwa and booked a night. It’s about 3hrs drive from AD, location-dependent. Everything is great; from the accommodation, to the staff and service. We were throughly impressed by the whole set up. What could be improved was the long waiting time between the buggy which you have to call for. Best call at least 5-10mins pre-departure so it comes as we’ve been left waiting for us to 30mins. You can walk to the main hall but it depends on how close your villa is to the main building and tolerance for the heat. Buffet meals could be improved with a balanced Arabic and Western palate and thoughtful meals for children (not just fries and nuggets). More signages online and onsite on activities is highly recommended as well as we’re left wondering what else is there to do. Apart from these little things, excellent stay. No mozzies issue, some little critters but you are in their terrain and otherwise a fab stay. Have recommended to friends to consider this place for a stay during winter.

La chambre qui n’est ni plus ni mois une maison avec table haute évier canapé, une chambre spacieuse une grande salle de bain avec grande douche et surtout des baies vitrées, côté cuisine, salon et chambre donnant sur cet immense désert, orange, le plus petite table à l’extérieur barbecue, mais surtout une piscine avec deux transats et toujours Face à ces belles dunes du désert Le petit déjeuner très bien avec une équipe au service et à la cuisine dédié aux petits soins avec un prix plus qu’abordable en forme le buffet. Vous avez également une superbe piscine, bien plus grande celle-ci au niveau de l’accueil avec balançoire transat un véritable paradis pour se reposer, mais également pour toutes les activités que l’on peut pratiquer tir à l’arc chameau, et bien sûr quad et buggy dans le sable une activité que nous avons pratiqué et qui est vraiment à couper le souffle. Effectivement il y a un petit peu de route depuis Dubai à peu près 3h30, mais quel dépaysement dans cette Oasis de Liwa. C’est une adresse que nous avons gardé et où nous retournerons dès que possible
