There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!

Remote location. Pool closed until later than advertised so only enjoyed a v short swim before leaving. No food shop on site. Fully equipped kitchen. Would have been good to have milk and tea bags etc provided. Great potential. Lovely setting

Pet friendly hotel

A nice enough place to stay, pleasant staff and it is possible to stay with your pets. Things that I didn't like - there are no bins sited around the grounds and although it is fairly expensive to stay there, you must make sure everything is cleaned or you get a €30 charge. I don't think anyone should leave it a mess but at that price I feel that the hotel should take care of the cleaning.

Rural French retreat

Very remote but a beautiful spot of 'proper' France. Be warned that very few staff or locals speak any English, but all very friendly and helpful and we managed to communicate! A thoroughly relaxing stay. No aircon or fans so was a little uncomfortable at night but all the better to stay outside for as long as possible to count the stars. Plenty of activities and fresh bread and pastries delivered to your door each morning 👍

A pleasant hotel village!

Was on a business trip in the area and decided to try something different, was a pleasant experience and would stay there again. The room was actually a small apartment, 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette, not overly fancy but efficient and very clean. High speed Internet access was most useful. Came in at night and in wintertime.. so could not really benefit from the surrounding, which seemed very nice (including lake). Staff were friendly and made sure I was fed, despite the restaurant being closed. Recommended!

Escale technique !

Super escale lors de notre retour a la maison entre le pays basque et la haute Savoie. Les enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine et du parc pour samuser un peu. Personnel fort sympathique ! Nous avons bien mangé et nous sommes bien reposés avant d'achever le restant de la route.
